摘要： A tongs apparatus includes an upper frame suspended from a crane, a pair of first arms journaled on the upper frame, a pair of second arms journaled on the first arms and disposed to cross each other, and a supplemental-holding-force apparatus. The supplemental-holding-force apparatus comprises a chain motor; a chain wound and unwound by the chain motor; a ring-shaped member connected to the chain and having an elongated hole; and a lifting metal fitting having a guide pin slidably engaged with the ring-shaped member. The chain is wound or unwound by the chain motor in order to move the ring-shaped member vertically to thereby supplement a holding force generated through closing of the second arms.

摘要： An automatic analyzer uses probes for detecting liquid levels based on a capacitance detection method. Erroneous detection of liquid levels due to interference caused by the frequency difference of oscillators is reducted. When frequencies f1 and f2 of respective detector oscillators, which are originally equal to each other, are different by approximately several Hz from each other due to a manufacturing variation, oscillation waveforms are added to liquid level detection voltages, causing a premature determination that the probes have contacted the liquid surface before actual contact therewith. By setting the difference between the frequencies f1 and f2 of the detector oscillators to be in the range of several kHz, an oscillation waveform corresponding to the difference between the frequencies is added to the detection voltages, but the amplitude values of the high-frequency components are attenuated by high-frequency attenuators, thereby ensuring accuracy in the liquid level detection.

A partition tube may be inserted in the large channel to form an air-inflow chamber between the partition tube and the body. Thus, air may be introduced from an outer air-suction port into the water-inflow chamber through an inner air-suction port.

摘要： A slide door is provided to be movable between a closed position to cover a side opening formed at a vehicle-body side face and an open position. The slide door is configured to move outward and subsequently slide rearward along a rear vehicle-body outer face when the slide door moves from the closed position to the open position. There is provided a detection sensor to detect a foreign matter in coming into a gap from a vehicle-compartment inside. A drive of the slide door is stopped in case the detection sensor detects the foreign matter in coming into the gap when the slide door moves toward the open position. Thereby, any foreign matter can be prevented from being pinched in the gap formed between the slide door and the rear edge portion of the side opening.
