    • A power supply device comprises: a voltage converting portion that converts a voltage generated from a power supply portion into an output voltage to be supplied to a load; a voltage divider circuit that generates an output voltage setting signal for providing a set value of the output voltage; a set value changeover portion that turns on/off set value changeover switches to change a voltage divider ratio of the voltage divider circuit to change the set value; a storage device that stores a state appropriate for each set value changeover switch for keeping the value of the output voltage within a specified range; a set value changeover switch control portion that controls the set value changeover switches so as to bring each set value changeover switch into a state as stored in the storage device when the voltage is supplied from the voltage converting portion to the load; and an output voltage control portion that controls the voltage converting portion so as to make zero a deviation between the value of the output voltage and the set value.

    • Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine, employing a microprocessor to control a load other than an ignition device, the control device being provided to an internal combustion engine in which is installed a magnet generator that has a magneto coil for successively generating, in association with revolution of the internal combustion engine, a first half wave voltage, a second half wave voltage of different polarity than the first half wave voltage, and a third half wave voltage of identical polarity to the first half wave voltage; and the magnet generator employing the second half wave voltage to drive the ignition device. The device is provided with an electricity storage element which draws excess power from the output that is output by the magnet generator for the purpose of driving the ignition device, and which is charged by the first and second half wave voltages, as well as being charged by the second half wave voltage as well at times that the internal combustion engine is in the exhaust stroke, in order to supply power to the load and to the microprocessor. The power source circuit is constituted to use the energy stored in this electricity storage element to generate power source voltage for presentation to the microprocessor and to the load other than an ignition device.

    • There is provided an electronic control unit including: input terminals connected to output terminals of a magneto generator driven by an engine; DC output terminals; a control power supply circuit that converts an AC voltage input between the input terminals into a DC voltage equal to a set value; and a microprocessor that controls electrical components of the engine, wherein the electronic control unit further includes an interruption signal generation circuit that compares an output voltage of the control power supply circuit with a certain abnormality determination voltage and generates an interruption signal when the output voltage of the control power supply circuit becomes the abnormality determination voltage or less, and an abnormality state storage unit for storing that an abnormality occurs in a power supply portion when the interruption signal is generated.
