    • In a step of producing a powder product of the alga belonging to the genus Dunaliella, a pH adjusting step is included in which an alga belonging to the genus Dunaliella is allowed to be in a basic state of pH 9.5 or higher.     • For better handling and improved riding comfort of a vehicle, there is provided a compound suspension system comprising a plurality of hydraulic shock absorbers each having a front chamber and a back chamber defined in front of and behind a piston member, respectively, received in a cylinder member, and a valve structure provided in each of the shock absorbers for selectively communicating the chambers to a conduit which is common to at least one other shock absorber, wherein: the valve structure comprises a valve element provided with a first part for varying a degree of communication between the front chamber and the common conduit and a second part for varying a degree of communication between the front chamber and the back chamber. The valve element is provided with two sets of openings which are spaced longitudinally from each other so as to cooperate with different ports provided in the piston rod as the valve element is turned about its longitudinal center by means of a control rod which extends longitudinally through a central bore of the piston rod.

    • An axial air motor having a plurality of cylinders disposed around the axis of rotation of an output shaft in such a manner that the direction of movement of the pistons is parallel with the output shaft. The air motor is provided with a swash plate which is rotatably mounted on the output shaft through a bearing and which is directly pressed by means of a ball which is mounted on each piston. Accordingly, the structure of the motor as a whole is simplified and the frictional resistance occurring between constituent parts can be minimized. Thus, it is possible to achieve an efficient axial air motor. Further, since a lubricant can be charged in a hole for receiving the ball in advance, it is possible to reduce the frictional resistance occurring between the ball and the swash plate even in a non-lubricated operation.
