A thrust washer is provided that is configured to prevent wear, abrasion, or other damage to the bearing components. The assembly includes a first shaft defining a cavity and a first bearing raceway, a second shaft arranged at least partially within the cavity of the first shaft, a sleeve arranged on an axial end of the second shaft and defining a second bearing raceway, and a bearing assembly including at least two rows of rolling elements and a cage. The rolling elements are supported between the first bearing raceway of the first shaft and the second bearing raceway of the sleeve. The sleeve can be heat treated, and formed from sheet metal. The sleeve can be secured to the axial end of the second shaft by a direct rotational connection such that the sleeve is rotationally fixed to the second shaft.

摘要： A suspension strut bearing assembly for connection between a portion of a suspension strut and a vehicle body. The bearing assembly includes an upper spring plate having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an opening defined therethrough, accommodates the piston rod of the shock absorber. The upper surface includes a first, concave race configured to receive rolling elements, and the lower surface includes a spring seat that is adapted to receive a suspension spring. An upper bearing washer that includes a second race that faces the first concave race 26 is provided. Rolling elements are located between the first, concave race and the second race. A retainer retains the upper bearing washer to the spring plate.

The first and second flange parts are hooked to each other by the securing interface and the securing counter-interface.

The cap defines a first bearing pocket half dimensioned to receive a first portion of a bearing assembly, a radially outer edge defining a first mating element configured to mate with a first portion of a top mount, and a radially inner projection defining a bearing surface configured to abut a second portion of a top mount. The top mount component can generally be configured to attach to a car body. The strut bearing assembly can include a guide ring including a guide sleeve configured to provide an interface for a shock absorber spring. The guide ring can define a second bearing pocket half dimensioned to receive a second portion of a bearing assembly.
