    • An image forming apparatus having an image reading table includes a document glass installed on an upper side of the image reading table, to support a document; an image reading sensor installed under the document glass, to perform an image reading operation; a cover to selectively cover the document glass; an automatic document feeder (ADF) to feed a document along an image reading path, past the image reading sensor; a document discharging plate to support a document discharged from the ADF; a first guide member; a guide film attached to the first guide member; and an image forming part to form the image on a printable medium. The guide film includes a first guide film portion and a second guide film portion, the first guide film portion is in planar contact with the document glass and the second guide film portion guides the document toward the ADF.

    • A driving method of an electrophotographic type image forming apparatus is provided. The method includes forming an electrostatic latent image by operating a photoconductor and an exposure unit, developing the electrostatic latent image by operating a developing unit, and transferring the developed image to a paper, wherein the operation of the developing unit is stopped after a tail end of the electrostatic latent image passes through the developing nip. In addition, the operation of the developing unit is started at a predetermined time between the time when the paper begins to be transmitted and the time when a leading end of the electrostatic latent image reaches the developing nip.

    • An image reading apparatus includes a first reading part which reads a first side of a document, a second reading part located on a document discharge path which reads a second side of the document with an image sensor, a path narrowing member positioned across from the image sensor on the document discharge path; and an adjusting unit, wherein the adjusting unit adjustably moves the path narrowing member closer to and farther away from the image sensor in order to correspondingly move the document closer to and farther away from the image sensor.
