摘要： A sheet material conveying apparatus has a conveying path for directing sheet materials supported on a supporting portion one by one to an image processing position and also directing them to a discharging portion after the completion of image processing, and a reversing path for containing a predetermined number of sheet materials therein, and reversing the sheet materials and directing them to the image processing position. When the interval between the predetermined number of sheet materials to be directed into the reversing path widens to such an extent that the sheet materials cannot be contained in the reversing path, preceding one of the sheet materials is decelerated or stopped in conformity with the widening to enable the predetermined number of sheets to be contained in the reversing path.

The separating member is of such a shape that the portion thereof from the leading end of the recording medium to an imaginary line substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement of the recording medium and passing through the pivot shaft is along the direction of conveyance of the recording medium, and the portion thereof which is downstream of the imaginary line with respect to the direction of movement of the recording medium gradually becomes far from the movement path of the recording medium.

摘要： The present invention provides a cassette loading device for an image forming apparatus including a sheet feeding portion within which a cassette for accommodating sheets is loaded, and a sheet feeding device arranged in the sheet feeding portion and adapted to feed the sheet from the cassette loaded within the sheet feeding portion. The cassette loading device has a guide for guiding the cassette to be loaded; a cassette shifting device rotatable along the guide means and having pins engageable with the cassette inserted into the sheet feeding portion; a driver for driving the cassette shifting device; vertical surfaces formed in the cassette and against which the pins are abutted to shift the cassette; and horizontal recesses formed in the cassette and adapted to direct the pins toward the vertical surfaces. The present invention further provides an image forming apparatus which includes an image forming apparatus for forming an image on the sheet being fed, and the above-mentioned cassette loading device.

摘要： A safety razor having a retractable blade member. The safety razor has a platform integral with the handle portion of the razor and provided with a recess formed in the upper surface thereof, a blade support member movably received by the recess of the platform, a blade member provided with front cutting edge and secured to and supported by said blade support member so as to project forwardly from the latter, a cover member fixed to the platform and cooperating with the latter in movably holding therebetween the blade support member together with the blade member, and apparatus for moving the blade member between a first position where the cutting edge is fully retracted and disappears behind the cover member and a second position where the cutting edge is fully extended. The cover member and the platform cooperate with each other in defining therebetween an elongated opening through which the cutting edge is moved in and out as the blade supporting member is moved by the above-mentioned apparatus. When the blade supporting member is moved toward the first position, the shaved matters sticking to the cutting edge or its vicinity are scraped off by the peripheral edges of the elongated opening.
