摘要： An improved internally-illuminable push-button switch unit is proposed, which is an assembly comprising:(a) an upper sheet member integrally consisting of a first elastic sheet having such a light-transmissivity as to ensure image-visibility therethrough and a key-top part made from a light-transmitting synthetic resin having a Shore D hardness of at least 40 and protruded on the upper surface of the first elastic sheet;(b) a lower sheet member integrally consisting of a second light-transmitting elastic sheet and a click-plate presser made from a light-transmitting material and protruded on the lower surface of the second elastic sheet, the lower sheet member being positioned below the upper sheet member;(c) a light-conducting plate positioned below the lower sheet member;(d) a click plate positioned below the lower sheet member;(e) a circuit board positioned below the lower sheet member; and(f) a light source positioned below the lower sheet member and above the circuit board,at least either one of the first and the second elastic sheets being provided on at least one of the surfaces with a colored layer.

摘要： Disclosed is a novel thermosetting resin composition suitable for the preparation of an integrally molded two-parts composite body consisting of a first part of a cured silicone rubber and a second part of a cured thermosetting resin without intervention of an adhesive layer at the interface. The thermosetting resin composition comprises:(a) 100 parts by weight of an unsaturated polyester resin;(b) from 20 to 50 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound such as diallyl phthalate;(c) from 5 to 30 parts by weight of an epoxy resin;(d) from 2 to 20 parts by weight of a melamine resin;(e) from 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of a radical-reactive curing agent which is an organic peroxide; and(f) from 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of an acidic catalyst such as aromatic sulfonic acid derivatives.

摘要： A method for forming a pad character in a key top for a push button switch and a method for manufacturing a cover member for a push button switch capable of permitting a push button switch to be manually operated in a manner comfortable to fingers over an extended period of time while preventing wearing of an indication section and simplifying the manufacturing of the cover member for the push button switch. A pigment particle is coated with a volatilization layer formed of resin blended with an electromagnetic wave absorbing powder to prepare a laser-sensitive color developing agent, which agent is then added to a thermosetting resin or elastomer material to prepare a composition. Each of key tops is formed of the composition, followed by irradiation of a laser beam on each of the key tops to form a character-like or figure-like indication section in the key top.

摘要： A push button switch and methods for manufacturing the same result in increased manufacturing efficiency and increased design freedom. The push button switch includes a key top, a dome section and a leg section which are integrally formed from a silicone rubber material. The key top includes a colored section formed by penetrating the coloring dye of a dye impregnated ink below the upper surface of the key top. The push button switches are formed into a rubber cover configuration by charging a mold for forming a plurality of the push button switches with a silicone rubber material. The dye impregnated ink is then applied onto the surface of each of the key tops by either a wet printing process or a sublimation transfer technique, and is subjected to a heat treatment which causes the dye to penetrate into each of the key tops.
