    • A method of testing a seating structure includes disposing a seat engaging member on a seat and engaging a backrest material with an anthropometric surface of a back engaging member. The back engaging member is pivotally attached to the seat engaging member. A test device kit includes a plurality of seat engaging members having different flexibilities and a plurality of back engaging members having different anthropometric rear surfaces. Each of the back engaging members is pivotally connectable with each of the plurality of seat engaging members. A method of assembling a test device includes selecting a seat engaging member from a plurality of seat engaging members having different flexibilities and selecting a back engaging member having an anthropometric rear surface from a plurality of back engaging members each having a different anthropometric rear surface, and pivotally connecting the seat engaging member with the back engaging member.

    • A control device and method is taught for controlling an animal's location. A GPS receiver receives GPS signals and a processor determines the position, velocity and heading direction of the animal relative to a target. A stimulus unit selectively applies a stimulus to the animal in response to received signals. A processor is programmed such that if the position of the animal relative to the target is less than a predetermined distance and the animal's velocity relative to the target is within a predetermined range and the heading direction of the animal is within a predetermined orientation relative to the target, then a signal indicative of applying a non-aversive stimulus to the animal is generated, and a signal indicative of removal of a non-aversive stimulus is selectively generated when the animal's velocity relative to the target is outside of the predetermined range, or the heading direction of the animal changes by more than a predetermined amount, otherwise a signal is generated indicative of first removing the non-aversive stimulus followed by application of an aversive stimulus to the animal.

    • A method for making an image of an object including depth information comprising the steps of: illuminating the object with a periodic pattern of light from an illuminating arrangement; the illuminating arrangement being such that the pattern is in focus in a focal plane and defocuses progressively away from said focal plane; the object being placed such that different parts of it are at different distances from the focal plane; capturing image data from the thus-illuminated object; analysing the captured image data to extract depth information based on the extent of defocussing of the pattern; and displaying an image of the object without the pattern and with depth information. Apparatus or carrying out the method, comprising an illuminating arrangement adapted to illuminate the object with a periodic pattern of light; the illuminating arrangement being such that the pattern is in focus in a focal plane and defocuses progressively away from said focal plane; the object being locatable with respect to the illuminating arrangement such that different parts of it are at different distances from the focal plane; image data capturing means adapted to capture image data from the thus illuminated object; data analysis means adapted to analyse captured image data to extract depth information based on the extent of defocussing of the pattern; and image display means for displaying an image of the object without the pattern and with depth information.
