摘要： In a sampled data transmitting apparatus in which the sampled data to be transmitted are divided into odd-numbered samples and even-numbered samples and arranged in different rows of a two-dimensional data array, and in which error correction codes are annexed to each row and to each column of the two-dimensional data array, the row arraying sequence in one of the odd-numbered or even-numbered rows is caused to differ from the row arraying sequence in the other of the odd-numbered or even-numbered rows so that odd-numbered data and even-numbered data continuous with the odd-numbered data are not arranged in one row. In this manner, even when error correction becomes impossible by the error correcting code for one row, interpolation remains feasible because there exist no odd-numbered data or even-numbered data contiguous to each other in the row.

A card 10 records user information 12, balance information 13, and audio data 14. The card 10 makes a settlement of electronic money with a vending machine 20 to buy a commodity. When the card 10 is presented to the vending machine 20, it reads the user information 12, the balance information 13, and the audio data 14 from the card 10 through wireless communications. The vending machine 20 makes a settlement on the basis of both information of the commodity that a user has selected and the balance information 13. As a result, the vending machine 20 provides the selected commodity to the user. On the other hand, with audio data 14, at a predetermined timing of the settlement, a predetermined sound is output. Audio data may be stored only in the vending machine 20 or both in the card 10 and in the vending machine 20. A sound that differs for each user and for each event is output.

A sensing meta data generating section 19 generates sensing meta data using information detected by at least one of the human body sensor 24 and the environmental sensor 25. A recording processing section 20 records the generated sensing meta data to a record medium 21. A reproducing processing section 23 reproduces sensing meta data. A reproducing control section 12 reproduces content in a reproducing mode that changes corresponding to the reproduced sensing meta data.

摘要： There is provided an image processing device that includes a facial image extraction portion, a positivity computation portion, and a selected image update portion. The facial image extraction portion specifies a facial region of an imaged subject within at least one sequentially input selection-eligible image and extracts from the selection-eligible image a facial image that corresponds to the facial region. The positivity computation portion computes for the selection-eligible image, using the corresponding facial image, a positivity of the imaged subject toward a person who acquired the selection-eligible image. The selected image update portion compares the selection-eligible image for which the positivity was computed in the positivity computation portion to a selection candidate image that has the greatest positivity among selection-eligible images for the same imaged subject for which the positivities have already been computed, and makes the image with the greater positivity the new selection candidate image.
