    • An electrical connector assembly includes an electrically conductive cage having a cage end configured for mounting in a panel opening. The cage has a compartment for receiving a pluggable electrical component therein. The cage end has a circumference defined by an exterior surface of the cage. A retention frame extends over the cage end along at least a portion of the circumference. The retention frame includes a gasket side and a rear side. A retention opening extends through the gasket and rear sides of the retention frame. An EMI gasket is mounted on the cage end. The EMI gasket includes a length of electrically conductive cord having opposite cord ends. The cord is wrapped externally around the cage end forming a continuous band that engages the exterior surface of the cage along at least a portion of the circumference. The cord extends along and engages the gasket side of the retention frame and the cord ends extend through the retention opening and along the rear side of the retention frame.

    • A receptacle assembly includes multiple receptacle guide frames configured to be coupled to a host board. Each receptacle guide frame has a front end and a back end. A receptacle extends from the front end to the back end of each receptacle guide frame. Each receptacle has an open end positioned at the front end of the receptacle guide frame and a closed end positioned at the back end of the receptacle guide frame. Each receptacle guide frame is configured to be aligned with an opening in a panel so that the receptacle is accessible through the opening. A host board connector is positioned at the closed end of each receptacle. Each host board connector includes a mating face. Each receptacle guide frame is aligned with the opening in the panel so that the mating face of each host board connector is positioned at a non-orthogonal angle with respect to the panel.

    • An electrical connector assembly is provided. The electrical connector assembly includes a cage member configured for mounting in an opening in a panel. The cage member has a compartment for receiving a pluggable electrical component therein. The cage member includes a latch for cooperating with a latch element of the pluggable electrical component. An EMI gasket is mounted on the cage member such that the EMI gasket is electrically connected to the cage member. The EMI gasket is configured to engage the panel when the cage member is mounted in the opening in the panel.     • An electrical connector assembly includes a shielding cage member having a plurality of walls including a top wall, a lower wall, a rear wall and side walls. The walls define an upper port and a lower port configured to receive pluggable modules therein. The cage member has openings in a front thereof for receiving the pluggable modules. The side walls include airflow openings on opposite sides of the cage member. A receptacle connector is received in the cage member proximate to the rear and is accessible through the upper port and the lower port. A separator member extends between the upper and lower ports that have an upper plate and a lower plate with a channel therebetween. The airflow openings are aligned with the channel and provide airflow through the channel. EMI screens cover the airflow openings to limit EMI passage through the airflow openings.
