摘要： A framework for providing multi-device collaboration is described herein. In one embodiment, a method for providing multi-device collaboration between first and second devices can include transferring an initializing function call to create a session object. The function call specifies a mode of the session object, a service type, and a service name. The session object can include functions to discover the second device, connect with the second device, and provide data transport between the connected first and second devices. The service name can include a truncated name, a unique identification, and a state of service of a software application associated with the first device. The method can include detecting a network and advertising the service type and the service name via the network. The service type and service name can be advertised prior to establishing the connection between the first and second devices.

摘要： A user processes high resolution digital images at a user computer by converting the high resolution images into low and thumbnail resolution formats and by converting the high resolution images into a JPEG format. The user also enters image related data into the user computer and creates a user database. The processed image data and the image related data are stored in the same database, i.e., a user database, and are transmitted to the host site. At the host site, the processed image data and the image related data are stored in the same database, i.e., a host database. Alternatively, users store a plurality of images in high resolution, low resolution and thumbnail formats at the user computer and upload to the host site those images—in thumbnail and low resolution format—that the user selects. Customers view the selected images at the host site and order desired images. The host site sends an image order to the user computer, and the user computer transmits the ordered images to an image laboratory in high resolution format for printing.

摘要： A mixer chamber is connected in series with the outlet pipe of a shower head to reduce water temperature variations in the outlet water, dispensed at the shower head, due to temperature variations in the water supply. The chamber includes an inlet pipe having a plurality of small holes to provide a uniform spray to mix with the contents of the chamber. An outlet pipe connects the mixture from the chamber to the shower head. The chamber is in the form of a cylindrical container with the pipes connected to diametrically opposed sides and has removable end caps to provide access to the interior. A hollow cup-like device is installed within the chamber, having the interior portions thereof coupled to the outlet pipe. The cup-like shaped device is provided with a plurality of openings, on the outermost exterior surface thereof, thereby permitting water, entering through the inlet pipe, to be stored within the cup-like device and to act as a buffer against temperature changes in the water provided to the inlet pipe.
