摘要： An irrigation system including a pump that regulates the supply of fluid to an endoscopic surgical site, and a tubing set for supplying the fluid. The tubing set comprises an inflow line for supplying fluid to the surgical site, and an outflow line for draining fluid from the surgical site. At least one of the inflow and outflow lines includes an expandable compliant tubing segment that expands to accommodate changes in the rate of fluid flow through the surgical site to reduce variations in fluid pressure in the surgical site. The fluid volume within the compliant tubing segment increases in response to increasing fluid pressure within the compliant tubing segment. The system is particularly designed for use in small joint arthroscopy (e.g., of the wrist) where the fluid volume in the surgical site is relatively small.

Each check-out lane end cap includes a fixture configured to hold and display product(s) for sale in a store. A sales performance metric is determined for each selected product based on in-store historical sales data representative of sales of the product in each store. A particular store into which to place each selected product in a check-out lane end cap is determined based on the received total number of stores and the determined sales performance metric for the product.

摘要： The present invention relates to a novel nitrile glycoside of Formula I named NIAZIRIDIN and to analogues and derivatives thereof. The present invention also relates to a process for the isolation of a novel nitrile glycoside of Formula I below named NIAZIRIDIN and its derivatives and analogues by bioactivity-guided fractionation from the pods of Moringa oleifera. The present invention particularly relates to the bioenhancing activity of the novel nitrile glycoside of Formula I below named NIAZIRIDIN and its derivatives and analogues in enhancing bioactivity of commonly used antibiotics such as rifampicin, tetracycline and ampicillin against Gram (+) and (−) bacteria. The biomolecule also enhances the absorption of drugs, vitamins and nutrients through the gastro-intestinal membrane increasing their bio-availability. Therefore niaziridin can be used in combination therapy with drugs and nutrients resulting in reduced drug associated toxicity, reduced cost and duration of chemotherapy.

摘要： The present invention provides a tubing set in cassette form and an irrigation system employing the cassette and tubing set for use in endoscopic procedures. The tubing set includes a generally arcuate cassette which is inserted into the pump housing to effect a change in tubing sets between procedures. A valve assembly and flattened tubing segment are preferably used to provide pressure control/relief in the tubing set/irrigation system. Also provided in combination with the preferred cassette is a fitting for coupling a pressure monitoring line with pressure monitoring equipment in the irrigation system.
