    • A sensor device is described for the contactless acquisition of a rotatable object, in particular for acquiring a rotational speed of a compressor wheel of a turbocharger. The sensor device furthermore includes at least one connection element, the connection element being set up to connect the sensor device to a device that includes the rotatable object, especially a turbocharger, so that the magnetic-field generator and the magnetic-field sensor are at least partially disposed together in a sensor section of the sensor housing, and the sensor housing is at least regionally set apart from the device that includes the rotatable object.
