    • A tube bending machine comprises a bending table mounted on a support turnable about an axis and coaxially carrying an inner bending template surrounded by at least one outer bending template which is shiftable along said axis relative to the inner bending template so that a portion of the tube to be bent may be pressed by clamping means carried by the bending template against the outer surface of the inner or the outer bending template. The bending machine comprises further guide means including a releasable collet for guiding the tube toward the bending templates, the guide means being mounted on the support movable in longitudinal direction of the tube to be bent and in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.

    • The pipe bending machine comprises a bending template (15) for bending the pipe therearound. The unbent pipe portion is supported on a pipe supporting rail (20) mounted on a pipe supporting rail carrier (25) and being adjustable in height. The height adjustment of the pipe supporting rail (20) is performed by a drive means (28), suited for stepless positioning, which sets the pipe supporting rail (20) to a height predetermined by the CNC control unit. Prior to the bending of the pipe, the height to which the pipe supporting rail (20) is to be moved is determined by the working program in dependance on a set of tool data which has been input into the control unit.

    • A pipe bending machine has a bending template (10) around which a pipe (13) is bent. The bending template (10) is provided with a position sensor (32) that detects the bending path in dependence on the rotational position. A pushing device (17) engages the unbent portion (13a) of the pipe and urges the same towards said bending template (10). The pushing device (17) is provided with a position sensor (30). The position signals (PS1, PS2) of the two position sensors (32, 30) are compared in a control circuit (41) and an actuation signal (SS) is generated for controlling a pressure controller (42) to adjust the pressure of the drive (22) of the pushing device (17). The actuation signal (SS) is generated such that, in the case of equal position signals (PS1, PS2), the drive (22) of the pushing device (17) is supplied with a pressure that determines the upsetting force exerted on the pipe.

The bending table has a rotation symmetrical configuration and consists of an inner rotary sleeve which acts simultaneously as a cylinder for lifting a two piece bending die. The drive for the bending table, and the drives for sliding shoe cooperating with the bending die are arranged on the projecting part of the supporting beam in a single structural unit.

    • A tube feeding device, particularly for use in a bending machine, comprises two units spaced from one another at a predetermined distance to form a tube magazine therebetween. A carriage with a recess to receive one individual tube is positioned at the bottom of the tube magazine. A chain conveyor is provided in the device adapted to receive individual tubes from the recess and transport the tubes toward the bending machine. The carriage is adapted to move towards and away from the chain conveyor to deliver the individual tube to the conveyor which is provided with a plurality of grippers adapted to carry the tubes and to advance them in a vertical direction.
