    • An enlarged metalwood golf club head, including a hollow body and a weight pad. The hollow body includes an inner cavity surrounded by sole portion, an impact face, a heel portion, a toe portion, a rear face portion joining the heel portion to the toe portion and a crown portion joining the impact face, the toe portion, the heel portion and the rear face portion. The heel portion includes an opening for the introduction and connection of a shaft. The opening defines an axis. A weight pad is located within the cavity of the body along the sole portion so that the center of gravity of the golf club head is located beneath the center of the impact face and closer to the heel portion than the toe portion. Desirably, the metal head has a size and a shape such that the head has a high moment of inertia about the vertical axis y passing through the center of gravity so that the head has increased resistance to horizontal rotation upon off-centered strokes.

    • The present invention comprises a system and method for presenting large numbers of items on a display screen. According to one aspect of the present invention, information is harvested from a plurality of sites and over a plurality of times and aggregated into a single item set. According to another aspect of the present invention, this information is supplemented by data derived from sorting and classification tasks performed by humans. According to another aspect of present invention, this information is used to derive similarities between items and to derive a hierarchical classification of items into a hierarchical set of categories. According to another aspect of the present invention, one or more series of catalog displays are created which display these items arranged by different criteria and at different scales.

    • Partially purified salt containing less than about 00.4 weight percent insolubles is further purified to reduce the insolubles until the milk pad rating is 3 or better for certain industrial uses and 1 for human consumption. The entry salt is washed in clarified brine to dislodge insoluble impurities adhered to the salt surfaces. The washed salt is then scrubbed with fresh water sprays to displace the wash brine from salt surfaces. The washed salt is drained and then dried in a kiln where flowing air blows away some impurities. The dried salt is passed through a magnetic separator, doubly sifted to remove both large and small impurities, and, where food grade salt is required, passed through a color sorter that removes relatively dark impurities.

In particular, a display is created of a set of items in a catalog containing item information such as item image data and item description. The method includes generating the set of items based on a first relationship, such as a function that maximizes similarity, and storing them as a set of ordered items; selecting a first item and storing it in a set of placed items; placing image data for the first item in the display; and for each of the remaining items, selecting a next item and placing the image data for the next item at a position in the display according to a second relationship between a description of the next item and descriptions of the set of placed items.

    • A system for creation of an image display such as an electronic postcard. The system interacts with a user to create and configure the display. The user provides the image data to the system and optionally specifies a message and addressee for the image display. The system creates the display, comprising a mixture of image and textual data, and sends a notification including identification of the display to a specified addressee, for instance, the recipient of the postcard. The addressee can then request receipt of the display from the system via the identification information sent by the system.
