摘要： A self-drilling anchor for use in a friable material comprises a body having an axis, a flanged rear end, a drilling front end and a generally cylindrical portion therebetween having an outer surface with a thread disposed thereon, wherein the body forks, beginning at a predetermined distance from the flanged rear end, into a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending forwardly into a drilling tip, wherein the first leg may have a generally rearward facing shoulder angled obtusely outwardly with respect to the axis, wherein the body has an axial bore for receiving an elongate fastener, the axial bore extending substantially through the flanged end and leading to the generally rearward facing shoulder, wherein the anchor is adapted so that the first leg pivots apart from the second leg when the elongate fastener deflects the generally rearward facing shoulder and the predetermined distance is selected to increase pullout strength when the first leg is pivoted apart from the second leg and the anchor is installed in the friable material.

摘要： An anchor system for a hollow wall or ceiling includes an anchor portion having a flange and a penetrating portion extending from a rear surface of the flange. The penetration portion has a fixed sleeve extending from the rear surface of the flange and a pivoting locking leg connected to the fixed sleeve by a hinge. The fixed sleeve has a non-round opening extending longitudinally therethrough and the pivoting locking leg has a stub extending from a rear surface thereof to retain the penetrating portion rigid as the anchor is inserted into the wall or ceiling. A pin portion has a body including a flexible shaft and an actuating element extending transversely from an end of the shaft. The shaft tapers, near the actuating element toward the actuating element to define a transverse dimension. The actuating element has a heel at about a rear surface thereof When the pin is inserted into the opening, the actuating portion contacts the stub to separate the pivoting locking leg from the fixed sleeve portion and to pivot the pivoting locking leg portion toward an inner surface of the wall or ceiling. Rotating the pin engages the actuating element at the heel with the stub to lock the leg in place and the shaft flexes to accommodate rotation of the leg more than or less than 90 degrees to secure the leg against the inner surface.

摘要： A heated conveyor belt cleaner is provided including a support shaft positioned adjacent to the belt to be cleaned and generally transverse to the belt's direction of travel, an electric resistance heating element is disposed within the support shaft, a heat conducting medium is disposed between the support shaft and the heating element to effectively conduct heat from said heating element to the support shaft, a mounting sleeve concentrically surrounding the support shaft for mounting a belt scraper element on the support shaft, at least one belt scraper element connected to the mounting sleeve and, through the mounting sleeve, to the support shaft, such that heat generated within the support shaft is communicated from the support shaft through the mounting sleeve to the scraper element to heat the scraper element for effective removal of adherent materials from the conveyer belt. A temperature sensor communicates the temperature of the scraper element to a thermostat which regulates the electric resistance heating element to provide a uniform preselected temperature at the scraper element.

摘要： The present invention provides a topical anesthetic gel composition, comprising: (a) one or more topical anesthetic agents; (b) an adrenergic sympathomimetic compound; and (c) a pharmaceutical gel component. The present invention also provides a topical anesthetic gel composition, comprising: (a) tetracaine HCl, wherein said tetracaine HCl is contained in said composition in an amount of from about 0.01% to about 1.0% by weight, based upon the total weight of said composition; (b) epinephrine HCl topical solution, wherein said epinephrine HCl is contained in said composition in an amount of from about 0.04% to about 0.1% by weight, based upon the total weight of said composition; (c) cocaine HCl, wherein said cocaine HCl is contained in said composition in an amount of from about 3.0% to about 12.0% by weight, based upon the total weight of said composition; and (d) GELFOAM.RTM., wherein said Gelfoam.RTM. is contained in said composition in an amount of from about 6.0% to about 9.0% by weight, based upon the total weight of said composition. 摘要： A tensioning device for imparting torsional bias to a shaft. The tensioning device includes an adapter member connectable to the shaft for conjoint rotation therewith. A first hub member is selectively rotationally engageable with the adapter member. A first coupling member is attached to the first hub and a second coupling member is attached to the adapter member. The coupling members provide selective rotational engagement of the first hub member to the adapter member such that the first hub member and the adapter member are relatively rotatable with respect to one another through a preselected degree of relative rotation and such that the first hub member is engageable with the adapter member upon sufficient relative rotation of the first hub member in a first rotational direction with respect to the adapter member such that further rotation of the first hub member provides a corresponding rotation of the adapter member in the first rotational direction. A second hub member is rotatable with respect to the first hub member. A torsion tube of resilient material connected to the first hub member and to the second hub member. A locking mechanism selectively connects the second hub member to a fixed frame to prevent rotation of the second hub member in at least one rotational direction.
