At this stage, springs (28) act to move the slider (19) forwardly to cause second contact elements (30) which move with the slider to engage second counter contact elements (39) to switch on current to contact elements (9, 32) and to block release of lock arm (10).

摘要： The invention relates to a male connector 13 for connecting to a female connector, which female connector housing has on its outer face at least one retaining projection. The male connector 13 comprises a male connector housing 14 with an elastic locking arm 21 with a locking strut 23. The male connector 13 has a slider 29 arranged to, which is displaceably held on the male connector housing 14 in an axially limited way. In the locking position the slider 29 prevents a deflection of the locking arm 21 and releases the same in a position different thereto. Compression springs 27, supported on the male connector housing 14 and on the slider 29, act on the slider 29 for taking up its locking position. An elastic retaining element 35 made from round steel, is mounted on the slider 29. In the relaxed condition of the spring leg 37, the retaining element 35 contacts the end face 6 of the female connector housing. By means of abutting a releasing face of the male connector housing 14 the retaining element is brought out off contact to the end face of the female connector housing.

摘要： The invention relates to a male connector (13) for being connected to a female connector (1) whose female connector housing (2), on the outer face (9) of same, comprises an engaging lug (10). The male connector (13) comprises a male connector housing (14) with a resilient locking arm (22) with engaging means (23) and with releasing faces (27) near the end of the locking arm (22) which is remote from the engaging means (23). The male connector (13) is associated with a slide (30) which is held on the male connector (13) so as to be axially displaceable relative thereto to a limited extent. In the locking position, the slide (30) prevents the locking arm (22) from being deflected and releases the locking arm (22) in a position deviating from the locking position. Pressure springs (37) which are supported on the male connector housing (14) and on the slide (30) load the slide (30) to enable same to assume its locking position. A resilient retaining element (38) made of steel is secured to the slide (30) and is provided with a retaining face (41) and a setting face (43). The retaining face (41), in the untensioned position of the spring arm (40), serves to establish contact with the end face (6) of the male connector housing (2). As a result of the setting faces (43) stopping against the releasing faces (27) of the male connector housing (14), the retaining face (41) is made to lose contact with the end face (6).

摘要： A connector housing has a longitudinal axis and includes a first housing portion, having a front end face and a rear end, and at least two accommodation chambers extending parallel to the longitudinal axis, and receiving respectively an electrical contact element, and having a connector tab. The accommodation chambers have, respectively, an insertion opening for a mating contact element and an exiting opening for the connector tab, open to the front end face. An elastic locking arm is provided for each accommodation chamber for retaining the contact element in the accommodation chamber. A second housing portion is formed integrally with the first housing portion and forms an accommodation chamber, into which a portion of a housing of a mating connector can be inserted. The second housing portion has contact elements having female contact terminals, which can be electrically connected to the contact elements. A short-circuit bridge, made from an electrically conductive material, is retained in the first housing portion and includes for each contact element an elastic contact arm. The contact arms are connected to each other and serve to contact the connector tabs. In an initial position, a front holder supports the contact arms in the lifted position and in the final position leaves these unloaded, so that these can contact the connector tabs.
