摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in relation to a Multiple Subscriber Identify Module (MSIM) user equipment (UE). The UE associated with multiple network subscriptions may determine a first timing of a first set of paging occasions associated with a first network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the first network subscription is associated with a first network; determine a second timing of a second set of paging occasions associated with a second network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the second network subscription is associated with a second network; compare the first timing and the second timing; detect a paging time adjustment condition based on the comparing; and based on the detecting, transmit to the first network, the second network or both a random access signal using a random access resource configured to convey a paging time adjustment request.

摘要： A multi-SIM UE may perform network SIB acquisition for each network subscription. However, if the multi-SIM UE employs subscriptions for the same network these operations may be performed redundantly. By identifying that the UE is employing multiple subscriptions, the UE and network can perform a single SIB acquisition for multiple subscriptions, which reduces power consumption and optimize network signaling overhead. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE configured to determine that the UE is associated with a plurality of network subscriptions, the plurality of network subscriptions being associated with a network, select a network subscription from the plurality of network subscriptions, perform a random-access procedure using the network subscription, receive system information broadcast in response to the random-access procedure, and configure the plurality of network subscriptions at the UE based on the system information.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for event reporting based spurious dedicated physical channel (DPCH) removal in soft handover include user equipment (UE) management of spurious channels. In one aspect, the disclosure provides methods and apparatus for wireless communication that may include determining that a dedicated physical channel (DPCH) is spurious, removing the DPCH from soft combining, and sending a report indicating that a cell associated with the DPCH is unavailable. Further, the methods and apparatus may include incrementing a counter for the cell associated with the DPCH in response to removing the DPCH, determining whether the counter exceeds a removal threshold, and increasing a time to trigger for sending a report to add the cell to an active set in response to the counter exceeding the removal threshold. A cell associated with a removed DPCH may also be excluded from measurements of a current frequency.

摘要： Aspects of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and methods for detecting and handling a spurious Dedicated Physical Channel (DPCH) of a cell in an active set from a mobile station side. A user equipment determines a signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) for each channel of a plurality of channels associated with cells maintained in an active set. A spurious DPCH has the lowest SIR among the plurality of channels. The user equipment puts the detected spurious DPCH in an exclusion mode in which the spurious DPCH is excluded from at least one of channel decoding or SIRE calculation, while maintaining the cell associated with the spurious DPCH in the active set.
