摘要： Method and system for information association based on an absolute position coding pattern comprising dots or markings which codes coordinates for a position on an imaginary surface. The imaginary surface comprises several regions which are divided in areas, each defined by said coordinates. Handwritten information is digitized by a handheld device which is moved over a surface provided with said pattern and acts like a pen to make notes on the surface. At the same time, the pattern is sensed and coordinates for the pen is calculated regularly. By passing the handheld device over the borderline between areas having different coordinates, a hyperline is generated having a discontinuity. Such a hyperline is easily recognized by the computer system and is used for connecting information at different areas, giving information some properties, like color, or performing an action on the information, such as encryption, or transferring the information to a recipient.

摘要： A method and a corresponding device for generating true random numbers for use in encryption of a message for secure transmission of said message from a sending device to a receiver, or for authentication of a sent message. An optical image represented by optical data is obtained by an optical sensor and processed in order to improve the stochasticity of the optical data. The thus processed data is then used for generating random numbers which can be used as an encryption key, or for generating an encryption key, for subsequent use in an encryption algorithm for encrypting the message. The method is implemented in a digital pen (DP) to be used in an information management system.

摘要： A business card and a pen, which is adapted to detect a position-coding pattern on the business card and calculate a coordinate by means of the pattern. When activating a send box by means of the pen, a computer sends a .vcf file containing the card holder's particulars to a card recipient belonging to the pen holder. When using an optional pen, the .vcf file is sent to a recipient indicated on the keypad of a mobile phone or written on the business card in associated fields or marked in other manners. The pen communicates with a computer wirelessly, for instance via Bluetooth, mobile phone and the Internet. Additional information can be drawn on the back of the business card and be attached to the transmission, such as date and time for the next meeting, a small drawing or sketch etc.

The method includes obtaining, in the digital pen, a message in the form of a plurality of position indications recorded from a position code on a substrate; sending at least one of the position indications to a database device; receiving from the database device an address of a receiving device which is associated with the at least one position indication and an encryption key relating to the receiving device, the encryption key being associated with the at least one position indication; encrypting the message using the encryption key received from the database device; and transmitting the encrypted message to the address of the receiving device.

摘要： An information processing system contains an arrangement for enabling printing on demand of position-coded bases. In the arrangement, a current graphical object is selected from a set of graphical objects prestored in the system, which each define graphic information and corresponds to a rule object which connects at least one processing measure to the graphic information. In the arrangement, the current graphical object is assigned position data from a position data bank. The assigned position data can then be applied, together with the graphic information, to a substrate for forming the position-coded base. The arrangement also provides allocation data in the system, which associates the assigned position data with the graphical object in such a manner that position data read from the base by means of a digital pen device can be processed in the system using the adequate rule object.
