摘要： An unitary stratified composite composed of a first stratum and a second stratum integrally connected by a transition zone is disclosed. The first stratum serves as a liquid acquisition stratum that rapidly acquires and then transfers liquid to the second stratum. The second stratum serves to withdraw liquid from the first stratum and further severs as a temporary storage stratum. Methods for forming the unitary stratified composite are also disclosed.

摘要： Methods for forming an absorbent fibrous composite containing absorbent material dispersed in bands through the composite and along the composite's length are disclosed. The methods generally include depositing a fibrous slurry on a foraminous support to form a web and depositing or injecting absorbent material into the web across its width to provide a web having absorbent material in bands along the composite's length. Drying the web provides a fluted absorbent composite. In one embodiment, the method is a wetlaid method and in another embodiment, the method is a foam-forming method. Preferably, the methods are twin-wire forming methods.

摘要： An absorbent composite that includes a fibrous matrix having absorbent material dispersed in bands along the composite's length is disclosed. The bands define liquid distribution zones. On liquid contact, absorbent material swelling occurs and produces a wetted composite having flutes that include swollen absorbent material separated by distribution zones, regions of the composite that are substantially free of absorbent material. Absorbent articles that include the composite are also disclosed.

The front member includes an additional channel to receive a front stop.

A display assembly or a pull-out tray assembly is engageable with holes into members for holding merchandise to be displayed at the front of the system. The assemblies include two side support elements, each extending from the rear to the front of the system when in the mounted position with one end at the rear having members projecting transverse to the support elements and each projecting member inserted into one hole in one vertical member. The side support elements are releasably retained in the mounted position by a horizontal elongated stretcher member having downwardly depending pins and which are slidably received in tubular members on each support element. A tray or J-hook is mounted on the support elements for holding merchandise to be displayed.

摘要： A carpet display assembly including a number of carpet sample clamps for receiving an edge of carpet samples, and a pair of supports disposed at an angle of greater than 90.degree. with respect to each other. The support members mount the clamps so that carpet samples received by the clamps may lay flat in a substantially horizontal plane in a first position thereof, and may be pivoted more than 90.degree. from the first position and disposed in a second, flipped-over, supported position. In this way, each sample will be displayed in a substantially horizontal position--for proper viewing--and each sample is fully visible when the overlapping sample is flipped-over, the flipped-over samples do not require holding in their flipped-over position, but rather are naturally supported in that position. Each clamp may comprise an integral structure of resilient material having a pair of legs adapted to clamp the carpet sample therebetween, one of the legs providing an inclined portion for guiding a rod-receiving portion of the clamp into clamping engagement with a mounting rod disposed on the second support member. A stand may be provided for supporting the first support member in a substantially horizontal plane.
