摘要： Certain embodiments relate to an assembly of a dental product and a holding system for temporarily holding the dental product. The holding system can include a first and a second part for sandwiching the dental product therein between. The first part can be provided with a shape which is substantially complementary to the shape of one side of the dental product and the second part can be arranged for releasably bonding another side of the dental product against the second part. Certain embodiments also relate to a method of improving the aesthetics of a tooth. The method can include placing a dental product onto a tooth by re-placing the dental product from an assembly directly onto the tooth. A part of the assembly can be used as a tool for placing the dental product onto the tooth.

The prosthesis can be formed to include a component to which an aesthetic coating, such as a coloring or tint, can be applied. During production, the crown can be coated with a metal and/or ceramic powder by means of a powder printer that can be controlled by computer equipment. 摘要： Presented herein are methods and devices for designing dental components, such as physical models of a patient's anatomy, crowns and bridges. An operator of a prosthetic designing system can receive information, such as from a scanner, which provides information on the topology of the patient's dentition. The operator can use this information to design a custom prosthetic to fit the patient. Part of the designing process involves using a finish line defined for a preparation as a segmentation line for a physical die corresponding to the preparation, and using a path of draw line as an insertion axis line for a dental prosthetic.

摘要： A system for production of a dental crown (23, 24) includes identification equipment (2), modeling equipment (9), ordering equipment (6), and an automated production arrangement (16). The latter, as a function of one or more first information items, is arranged to effect production, by means of pressing or pressure-casting, of an integrated dental crown which is made up of two layers. The first layer comprises or consists of porcelain material, and the second layer consists of aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, etc. The second layer forms a cap, via which the dental crown can be applied to a tooth stump (28) of a patient (1). The invention also relates to a dental replacement component consisting of the dental crown. It relates also to an arrangement used for a preliminary stage in production of a dental crown, which arrangement is characterized by a cylinder-shaped unit (puck) which is made of porcelain material and can be pressed against the cap under vacuum and at high pressure in order to form the first layer. The invention permits accelerated and efficient production of individual dental crowns.

摘要： Methods for obtaining data and for manufacturing a dental component and a physical dental model of at least a part of a dental structure are provided which can improve processing times and provide sufficient manufacturing accuracy. An embodiment of the method can comprise obtaining a first data record for manufacturing the dental component and a second data record for manufacturing the physical dental model. The first data record can comprise data based on a portion of a digital dental model. The second data record can comprise data based on at least the portion of the digital dental model. In this regard, the data upon which the first and second data records are based can be obtained using first and second scanning resolutions in order to improve processing times and provide sufficient accuracy.
