    • This motor/generator produces rotational torque and/or electrical energy employing a flexible magnetically permeable circular band as a rotor that in operation is in physical contact with the stator, arching and curving forward in response to advancing magnetic fields along the stator surface. The stator may be comprised of either a typical three-phase winding, or a series of magnetic actuators arranged in a toroid for which the rotor band acts as a continuous armature. The rotor rotates as follows: an actuator to the left or right of an active actuator is activated to pull a rotor arch down to the stator surface; as this occurs, the previously active actuator is turned off and that part of the rotor springs away; the rotor moves clockwise or counterclockwise as the arches of the rotor are advanced forward or backward, respectively. Differential rotor movement provides speed reduction and torque enhancement without gears.

    • A method includes placing an accent in a frame, and only letting frames with the same accent communicate with each other. This accenting is removed using an accent key immediately prior to a compilation operation. The accenting can be performed by performing an XOR operation on a data stream using a key. In one exemplary non-limiting embodiment a computing system is provided. The computing system includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to introduce domain specificity to at least one of a script and an HTML object name. In another exemplary non-limiting embodiment, means are provided for introducing domain specificity to at least one of a script and an HTML object name and means are provided for removing the introduced domain specificity prior to a compiling operation.

    • A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) mitigation technique that can be implemented wholly on the client by installing a client-side filter that prevents reflected XSS vulnerabilities. XSS filtering performed entirely on the client-side enables web browsers to defend against XSS involving servers which may not have sufficient XSS mitigations in place. The technique accurately identifies XSS attacks using carefully selected heuristics and matching suspect portions of URLs and POST data with reflected page content. The technique used by the filter quickly identifies and passes through traffic which is deemed safe, keeping performance impact from the filter to a minimum. Non-HTML MIME types can be passed through quickly as well as requests which are same-site. For the remaining requests, regular expressions are not run across the full HTTP response unless XSS heuristics are matched in the HTTP request URL or POST data.
