The user entity (UE) is being adapted to transmit data packets and associating a third signal (HAPPY, 7) and the user entity (UE) is being adapted to transmit data packets and associating a fourth signal (NOT HAPPY, 1, 9) with the data packet transmission indicating the user entity wishing to being granted permission to use a higher signalling rate than it is currently being permitted to use by the serving node (B1). The user entity is being adapted for issuing a signalling rate limitation signal (UE RATE LMT, 9′) to the serving node, indicating the user entity having limited its signalling rate signal below the signalling rate granted to it by the serving node B. There is moreover provided a method for a Node B, which as a non-serving Node B (B2) is transmitting on the E-RGCH, a situation signal (E-RGCH CEASE 14, 15′) being indicative of a cease ceased 9″ of an interference situation.

    • A telecommunication system comprises a radio network controller (RNC), and a Node-B (NB) for enabling wireless communication with a user terminal (UE). The RNC establishes an enhanced dedicated transport channel (E-DCH) which enables uplink data traffic with a determined maximum data rate from the user terminal (UE) to the NB. The RNC further establishes a high speed DL shared channel (HS-DSCH) which enables downlink data traffic with a determined maximum data rate from the NB to the user terminal. The NB comprises a HSDPA scheduler (HS-S) scheduling the data rate for the DL data traffic via the HS-DSCH and a EUL scheduler (EUL-S) scheduling the maximum data rate for the UL data traffic via the E-DCH. The NB exchanges data rate information between the HS-S and the EUL-S. Furthermore, the NB monitors the quotient (Q) between DL data rate and the UL data rate. When Q fulfils determined traffic conditions the HSDPA scheduler (HS-S) and/or the EUL scheduler (EUL-S) changes the allocation and/or the priority handling of the UL and/or the DL resources.

    • A method for a first base station (BS1) and a base station are provided being adapted to receive uplink transmissions at transmission opportunities from a given user entity (UE).
