    • A photoelectric sensor having a photoconductive layer on an electrode and used to form information on an information recording medium. The photoelectric sensor is semiconductive and has such a function that when a voltage is applied between the electrode of the photoelectric sensor and an electrode of the information recording medium while information exposure is being carried out, or when information exposure is carried out with a voltage being applied between the two electrodes, information can be recorded on the information recording medium with an electric current amplified to a level higher than the intensity of a photoelectric current induced by the information exposure, and that even after termination of the information exposure, when the voltage is continuously applied, the photoelectric sensor shows electrical conductivity and continuously effects information recording to the information recording medium. The photoelectric sensor has a photo-induced current amplifying layer provided between the electrode and the photoconductive layer, thereby enabling an image free from unevenness and noise to be formed with high sensitivity.

    • There are provided a phase change-type memory element, which can reduce a reset pulse current value necessary for returning the phase state from an ON state to an OFF state, can improve integration density, is not restricted by the process temperature at the time of the production thereof, and can be simply produced, and a process for producing the same. The phase change-type memory element comprises: two or more electrodes provided opposite to each other through an insulating layer; an exposed surface on which at least a part of the insulating layer and at least a part of each of the electrodes are exposed; and a phase change recording material layer provided, on the exposed surface, in contact with the at least two electrodes. The production process of the phase change-type memory element comprises the steps of: providing two or more electrodes opposite to each other through an insulating material; forming an exposed surface on which at least a part of the insulating material and at least a part of each of the electrodes are exposed; and forming a phase change recording material layer on the exposed surface so as to be in contact with at least two of the electrodes.

    • A main object of the present invention is to provide a production method for a color filter capable of producing a color filter with little white spots by the ink jet method. To achieve the object, the present invention provides a production method for a color filter using a substrate for a color filter comprising a base material, and a light shielding part formed on the base material and having a plurality of opening parts, comprising: a lyophilic process step of processing each of a base material surface in the opening parts to be lyophilic by contacting each of the base material surface in the opening parts with lyophilic process solution containing a water soluble organic solvent having a hydroxyl group and water, and a colored layer forming step of forming a colored layer on each of the base material surface in the opening parts processed to be lyophilic in the lyophilic process step by an ink jet method.
