    • A seat track assembly for adjusting a seat assembly of an automotive vehicle comprising a lower track having a first plurality of apertures, an upper track slidably mounted to the lower track and having a second plurality of apertures. A latch assembly is fixedly mounted to the upper track. The latch assembly includes a plurality of locking fingers projecting through the apertures in the upper track and adapted to be received in at least one of the apertures in the lower track. An actuator moves the fingers between a locked condition engaged with at least one of the apertures in the lower track and an unlocked condition spaced from each of the apertures in the lower track and a biasing member biases the fingers to the locked condition regardless of a relative position between the upper and lower tracks.

    • An attachment washer assembly for aligning and fastening an attachment bracket (32) to a floor panel (20) has a first member (40) having a tubular ring (44) extending from a cylindrical flange (42) and a second member (5) having a tubular ring (54) extending from a cylindrical flange (56). The ring of the first member is frictionally fitted within the ring of the second member retaining the attachment washer assembly within a preformed aperture formed in the attachment bracket. The flanges slidingly engage the peripheral side portions of the bracket along opposing sides of the aperture. The ring (54) of the second member has an outer diameter which is less than the diameter of the aperture and the flanges (42, 56) having an outer diameter greater than the diameter of the aperture such that the attachment washer assembly is moveable within the preformed aperture for alignment with an aperture in the floor panel to receive a fastener therethrough and secure the bracket to the panel.

    • A seat track assembly (10) is adapted to mount a seat to a floor of an automotive vehicle and provide selective forward and rearward adjustment of the seat relative to the floor among a plurality of seating positions. The seat track assembly includes an inner track (20) fixedly secured to the floor of the vehicle. The inner track (20) has a flattened bearing surface (37, 38) extending longitudinally along the inner track. An outer track (40) is fixedly secured to the seat and slidably coupled to the inner track (20) to allow selective sliding adjustment of the seat relative to the floor of the vehicle. The outer track (40) includes an arcuate bearing surface (57, 59) extending longitudinally along the outer track (40) and opposing the flattened bearing surface (37, 38). A plurality of cylindrical bearings (80) are positioned between the flattened bearing surface (37, 38) of the inner track (20) and the arcuate bearing surface (57, 59) of the outer track (40) to accommodate torsional loading and movement of the outer track with respect to the inner track while facilitating the selective sliding adjustment of the seat relative to the floor.

    • A vehicle seat has a mounting structure comprising a pair of interengaged tracks slidably mounting the vehicle seat and a pair of locking assemblies operatively associated with the tracks to selectively engage and disengage each of said interengaged tracks and a bi-directional actuation assembly. The bi-directional actuation assembly has a rotatably mounted handle. A roller is mounted on a pivotally mounted lever. The lever operatively connects the handle to the roller. A spring biases the roller to a neutral position. A cable is tensionally associated with each of the locking assemblies and extends over the roller. Rotation of the handle in either direction responsively moves the roller against the bias thereby tensioning the cable and moving both of the locking assemblies to a disengage position.
