    • A gas turbine having a device and a further device is provided. The device includes an outer casing, an inner casing and a seal ring. The outer casing and the inner casing are arranged in such a way that a cooling duct is formed between each other. The seal ring is arranged between the outer casing and the inner casing in such a way that the seal ring seals the cooling duct from an environment surrounding the outer casing. The device and the further device are mounted together such that working fluid is flowable from the further device to the device. Furthermore the device includes a rotatable shaft and the further device includes a further rotatable shaft, wherein the rotatable shaft and the further rotatable shaft are mechanically decoupled from each other, and wherein the seal ring exclusively abuts against the inner casing and against the outer casing of the device.

    • The present invention generally relates to apparatus and methods for expanding a tubular. In one embodiment, an expander tool includes a body having at least one recess therein. An expansion assembly disposable in the at least one recess includes a piston that outwardly extends from the body in response to a radially outward force. The expansion assembly includes one or more rollers disposed on a shaft such that the rollers rotate at different speeds. In order to improve a rolling ratio, the shaft is arranged on the piston at an outward angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the tool. The expansion assembly is disposed along the tool at a skew to provide tractoring and reduce slippage due to axial movement. A bearing adjacent the roller and rotationally secured to the roller reduces roller heating and wear. In another aspect, methods for expanding a tubular within a wellbore are provided.

This may be performed automatically or involve the transmission of invitations and acceptances. The invitations may be automatically dispatched, and the responses may automatically update the data. It may be layered to integrate the filling of a vacancy with the provision of a service for a related period of time. For instance, integrating the filling of a teaching or nursing staff vacancy with the provision of child minding services for the same period.

    • External fixation assemblies offer good benefits in relevant orthopedic procedures but would be used more efficiently if the quick-release fasteners could be used so no tools would be required. This invention covers various embodiments of quarter-turn, quick-release fasteners, various shapes and surfaces of connecting rods and bone pins or other clamped objects to facilitate use of external fixation assemblies. Included are quick-release fasteners constructed from programmable magnets. Connecting rods can have fastening positions in the form of threaded or non-threaded holes. Both holes and connecting rods and bone pins can be of different shapes, for example, round, square, oval, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, or any arbitrary shape.
