摘要： A nickel oxide powder material that can restrain cracking of electrode due to oxidation expansion and peeling from a electrolyte and thus can decrease deterioration of the power generation characteristics, even in the case that the anode is exposed to an oxidizing atmosphere caused by the disruption of the fuel supply at operating temperature or the like when used as an anode material for a solid oxide type fuel cell and its efficient production method, and the anode material for the solid oxide type fuel cell using the nickel oxide powder material.The nickel oxide powder material for an anode material constituting a solid oxide type fuel cell is characterized in that it is made up of a core particle (a) composed of a nickel oxide fine particle and a coating layer (b) including a zirconium hydroxide, which is formed on the surface of the core particle (a), as its main component, and that the zirconium content contained in the coating layer (b) is 0.001 to 0.01 g/m2 per surface area of the nickel oxide fine particle.

摘要： A sensor chip has a metal layer formed on a surface of a substrate, where a plurality of microscopic concave part is formed in a measurement region of the surface of the metal layer. When light of linear polarization is irradiated onto the measurement region, local resonance electric field generates at opposing metal layer surfaces in the concave part. The reflected light thereof is received to measure reflectance. The light of linear polarization is irradiated so that the polarizing surface becomes orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the concave part.

摘要： An improved assembly, composed of a hard member and a soft tube fitted onto the hard member, for medical uses is formed with a plurality of projections on the side wall of a flange of the hard member. The projections project toward the soft tube side to firmly hold the foremost end part of the soft tube between the projections and a fitting portion of the hard member in a clamped state when the soft tube is fitted onto a fitting portion of the hard member. The foremost end surface of the soft tube may slantwise be cut to define a certain angle relative to the center axis of the assembly such that the foremost end part of the soft tube comes in tight contact with the side wall of the flange when the soft tube is fitted onto the fitting portion of the hard member. The soft tube may be formed with a plurality of cutouts which are arranged along the periphery of the foremost end surface of the soft tube in a spaced relationship. Each cutout preferably exhibits a V-shaped contour which defines a certain opening angle symmetrically relative to the center axis of the assembly.

摘要： An improved infusion needle device of the type including a liquid delivering passage and an air introducing passage extending in parallel with each other includes a tubular needle, a bottom portion into which the rear part of the tubular needle is immovably fitted, a flange portion made integral with the bottom portion, a cover member airtightly secured to the flange portion and a valve disc received beneath a circular projection on the flange-shaped part of the cover member. As air enters through an air inlet port on the flange portion, the valve disc is raised up so that air is introduced into the interior of the parenteral liquid container via a cutout on the circular projection, a clearance between the bottom portion and the cover member and an annular clearance between the tapered foremost end of the cover member and the tubular needle. When liquid in the container flows out through the air inlet port, the valve disc comes in the inside wall surface of the flange portion under the effect of the dead weight of the liquid itself to close the air inlet port with the valve disc.

摘要： A substrate for immobilizing biomolecules comprises a chip substrate, a hydrophilic monolayer, and a lipid bilayer, and a biochip comprising the substrate for immobilizing biomolecules on which biomolecules are immobilized. The substrate for immobilizing biomolecules includes a transparent chip substrate, a metal layer provided on the chip substrate, a monolayer provided on the metal layer, and a lipid bilayer provided on the monolayer. The metal layer is composed of fine particles of Au, the monolayer is composed of self-assembled molecules represented by X—(CH2)n—OH (where X is a thiol group), and the lipid bilayer is composed of self-assembled phospholipids. The monolayer and the lipid bilayer are relatively flexibly bound together via hydrogen bonds. In the biochip, a receptor is immobilized on the lipid bilayer via a biorecognition molecule.
