摘要： The distributed capacitance between coil turns in a coil device is increased, and a coil inductance and a low-pass filter are formed, whereby overvoltages and high frequency voltages are suppressed. The increased distributed capacitance is attained by inserting a ferroelectric insulator, such as a ceramic material, between the coil turns or by winding a metal foil-containing insulator film in the shape of a tape, round a coil conductor.

摘要： A supervisory unit for detecting abnormalities in shaft voltage of rotary electrical machinery and apparatus such as brushless synchronous machines. The supervisory unit includes a first detector for detecting the voltage across at least two points of the rotor shaft, a second detector for detecting the voltage between the rotor shaft and ground, and a third detector for detecting an electrical condition of an AC exciter which constitutes part of the field system of the apparatus. The third detector may detect electrical signals indicative of the field system voltage or the field system current. The supervisory unit includes a voltage comparator and a frequency comparator which receive detection signals from the three detectors to provide a signal indicating abnormality when an abnormal condition occurs, such as contact failure of a grounding brush or a failure in coil insulation.

摘要： A protective device for a brushless exciting device comprises: a signal transmitter for transmitting a signal that is applied between a neutral point of an armature winding of an AC exciting device and ground; a signal detecting circuit for detecting the signal transmitted from the signal transmitter; a signal comparator circuit for comparing the frequency of the signal taken from the signal detecting circuit with a predetermined frequency value to output a signal indicating the difference between them; and an abnormal fault detecting device which detects an abnormal fault in the output signal from the comparator and accordingly outputs a signal for the abnormal fault or indicates directly the abnormal fault. The abnormal fault detecting device may compare a pattern of the difference signal from the signal comparator circuit with predetermined signal patterns for various faults.
