    • A device for signal transmission in computer tomographs comprising a rotating part supported to be rotatable with respect to a stationary part. A transmission controller is provided on the rotating part for compiling, from video data of a video source and from control information of a control unit, serial data for transmission to the stationary part by means of a rotary joint. A receiving controller is provided in the stationary part for receiving the serial data transmitted by the rotary joint and for evaluating these data and communicating the control information contained therein to a control unit, and the video data to a data sink. The serial data generated by the transmission controller comprise data frames, and video data and control information each being transmitted in a data frame.

    • A non-contacting data path for rotating data transmission of digital data from a data source to a data sink includes at least one clock modulator. A data clock frequency is specifically modulated with the clock modulator to widen a spectrum of data signals and achieve improved EMC properties in measurements according to valid EMC Standards. Owing to use of a plurality of clock modulators along a course of a non-contacting rotary transmission path, signal jitter caused by individual components of the data transmission path is in each case replaced by artificially caused jitter of clock modulation. Thus, data transmission with defined jitter and defined signal quality can be achieved.

    • A device for receiving digital signals comprising at least one receiving antenna, a measuring means for determining parameters of relevance to signal quality, a digitizer, and a signal-processing unit. The signal-processing unit is controlled to optimize the reception of the digital signals on the basis of the parameters determined by the measuring means. A signal-processing unit processes signals from the receiving antenna and a digitizer converts the processed signals so that the converted processed signals can be measured to determine their relevance signal quality; a transmitter conductor array coupled to the receiving unit can be controlled therefrom. Controlling the signal quality occurs using a dielectric or ferromagnetic materials, impedance elements, or actuators between the receiving antenna and the transmitter conductor array.
