    • A two-layer map device for any given area has a first, base layer and a second, upper layer superimposed and secured by a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The upper layer is articulated into the primary areas of the map, so that individual states, or the like, can be peeled off, one by one, in any desired sequence, to reveal the corresponding, individual states, or the like, of a map on the under layer. The upper layer may be neutrally colored, and opaque, to cover a bright, multi-colored map on the lower layer, underneath, so that as an articulated element of the upper layer map is peeled off, a multi-colored picture of the same state or district will appear underneath. This provides a means for displaying the states or districts in sequence, to record travel, for example.

    • A fixture for final finishing flange faces of a hub of a knuckle assembly includes a mounting surface, a drive arrangement and a clamping arrangement. The drive arrangement is operative for engaging and rotating the hub of the knuckle assembly relative to the remainder of the knuckle assembly. The drive arrangement includes a drive member extending along a drive axis. The drive member is rotatable about the drive axis. The clamping arrangement is carried by the mounting surface. The clamping arrangement radially surrounds the drive arrangement and is operative for clamping the fixture relative to the mounting surface. The clamping arrangement includes a housing, a piston assembly radially positioned between the housing and the drive member, and a clamping sleeve radially disposed between the piston assembly and the clamping sleeve. The piston is movable in a first direction generally parallel to the drive axis. The clamping sleeve and the piston are cooperatively configured to radially force an upper end of the piston assembly radially outward in a second direction in response to movement of the piston in the first direction for engaging a back bore of the knuckle assembly.

    • The loader and carrier apparatus for boat and trailer includes a support framework having two side rail members with stake pocket engaging stubs and a front lower cross member, formed to lay atop and be supported only by the side and front walls of the pickup box. A front top cross member is supported above the front lower cross member. Two rear cross members extend across the pickup box between the side rail members. A guide rail is centrally attached to the rearmost cross member, and extends upward and forward to a central attachment at the front top cross member. A forward support platform is attached to the front end of the guide rail and extends horizontally forward a limited distance to provide for transition between trailer tongue supporting rollers. A first horizontal roller assembly is mounted on, and extends downward from, the trailer tongue, to engage the guide rail and forward support platform. A second horizontal roller assembly is mounted upon the guide rail at its forward, upper end, and is positioned to support the tongue of the trailer when the first horizontal roller assembly is not engaged upon the guide rail or platform. A lateral guide assembly, mounted on the platform, limits lateral movement of the tongue. Detachable ramp assemblies extend from inclined wheel rests to the ground. A guide rail extension extends rearward and downward from the guide rail. A winch assembly utilizes a cable fed through a longitudinal slot in the guide rail for attachment to the trailer.
