摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a method for forming an excellent multi-layer coating film of high chroma and brightness and a rich color. With the method, color mottling does not occur easily in the coating film and the design obtained is homogeneous even without strict control of variations in film thickness during coating. The method for forming the excellent multi-layer coating film comprises: forming a metallic base coating film on the surface of the object to be coated by applying a metallic base coating containing a shiny material; then forming a color base coating film by applying a color base coating; subsequently forming a clear coating film by applying a clear coating on the color base coating film; and heat-curing the metallic base coating film, the color base coating film and the clear coating film obtained. In the method, the light reflectance of the metallic base coating film is in a specified range and the light transmittance of the single color base coating film obtained by heat-curing the color base coating film as a single film is adjusted to a specified range.

摘要： A rear pillar inner provided at a side panel inner and extending upward from a front-side upper portion of a rear wheel house, a rear pillar reinforcement joined to an outside portion of the rear pillar inner, and an outside reinforcing member connecting an outside portion of the side panel inner and the rear wheel house are provided. The rear pillar reinforcement has a rear-side pillar-reinforcement ridge portion extending vertically. The outside reinforcing member has a front-side reinforcing-member ridge portion extending vertically. A lower end portion of the rear pillar reinforcement and an upper end portion of the outside reinforcing member are joined such that the both ridge portions are arranged to align substantially straightly, when viewed from the side, and to slant in such a manner that an upper side thereof is positioned relatively forward compared to a lower side thereof.

A roof reinforcing member which extends in the vehicle width direction over respective upper end portions of the center pillars or respective nearby portions to upper ends of the center pillars is provided, which includes a front concave portion and a rear concave portion which are concaved downward respectively. The inflator is arranged such that at least a portion of the inflator overlaps with the roof reinforcing member, and a depth of the rear concave portion overlapping with the inflator is shallower than that of the front concave portion positioned nearer the center pillars.

摘要： Each rear pillar (4) includes a rear pillar inner panel (33) and a rear pillar reinforcement (34). The rear pillar inner panel (33) and the rear pillar reinforcement (34) each include a substantially L-shaped corner portion (C1, C2) raised toward the rear pillar inner panel (33), and a ridge portion (X1, X2). The corner portions (C1, C2) are arranged next to each other in the direction toward a reinforcement (50), and an L-shaped closed cross section (40) is formed between the corner portions (C1, C2). The reinforcement (50) is, not via the closed cross section, directly connected to the corner portions (C1, C2). An upper portion of the L-shaped closed cross section (40) is connected to a closed rear header cross section (19).
