摘要： A cylindrical secondary battery having improved performance in a compression test and a collision test. The cylindrical battery including a ceramic layer coated on at least one of a cathode plate and an anode plate, and a center pin having a wall thickness of 0.05 to 0.1 mm, which is inserted into the center of an electrode assembly of the battery. The ceramic layer can have a thickness of 6.0 μm to 8.0 μm.

The lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly which is formed by winding a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate; and a can for receiving the electrode assembly, wherein the separator is formed of a ceramic material, a polarity of the first electrode plate is opposite to that of the can, and the outermost part of the first electrode plate is disposed further outside than the outermost part of the second electrode plate.
