    • Provided is a flexible light system including: a light source unit generating a desired optical signal to output; a control unit controlling the optical signal generated from the light source unit; and a panel unit configured of a film having an optical light waveguide combined with the light source unit and transmitting the optical signal generated from the light source unit to a predetermined position and an output terminal outputting the optical signal transmitted through the light waveguide. The flexible light system includes only manual units, such as light waveguides and output terminals, without active elements, in the film of a panel unit, by disposing all driving units outside the panel unit, separate from an optical output panel unit, such that it is possible to implement a roll-type display or a lighting system by using a substrate having flexibility and long-term durability for the film of the panel unit.

    • Provided is an optical device having an optical waveguide including an organic Bragg grating sheet. The optical device includes a cladding layer, and an optical waveguide. The cladding layer is formed on a substrate, and the optical waveguide is formed within the cladding layer. The optical waveguide includes a core layer and an organic Bragg grating sheet located within the core layer. The organic Bragg grating sheet has a refractive index higher than that of the core layer to reflect or transmit light having a predetermined wavelength. Accordingly, light propagates through the optical waveguide with high reflectance and low loss. Besides, a high performance tunable wavelength filter or tunable dispersion compensator may be constructed by forming a thermal electrode on the optical waveguide, forming a tapered optical waveguide, or forming a chirped organic Bragg grating sheet in the middle of the core layer of the optical waveguide.

The hybrid nanocomposite thin film for a photonic device may be provided by physically coupling a high concentration and broadband semiconductor quantum dot layer and a polymer layer so as to realize a photonic device with high power, broadband, high brightness, and high sensibility, and a flexible photonic device may be also provided.
