    • An electric field shielding apparatus used with an electrical device comprises a housing body at least partially surrounding the electrical device; and a conductive shield medium arranged with the shape of the housing body to at least partially surround the electrical device to substantially reflect electric field generated from the electrical device. The conductive shield medium is a thin conductive layer coated on interior surface of the housing body. Alternatively, the conductive shield medium is a conductive mesh placed against interior surface of the housing body. In addition, the conductive shield medium may be integrally mixed with the housing body to make the housing body substantially electrically conductive. In other words, the conductive shield medium may be in a powder form which is mixed with plastic power, the mixture of which is then heated and poured into an injection mold to form a housing body of an electric device. To effectively block or absorb the electric field generated from a device, the conductive shield medium is preferably grounded by being connected to a ground prong of a power outlet.

    • The present invention relates to a system for protecting a person from electromagnetic waves. The system includes an electromagnetic-wave shielding blanket, an electric conductor housed in the electromagnetic-wave shielding blanket for absorbing electromagnetic waves and transferring the electromagnetic waves to a ground, and a grounding connection for connecting the electric conductor to the ground. The system further includes an electric heating mattress housing the ground, and an electric conductor housed in the electric heating mattress for absorbing electromagnetic waves and transferring the electromagnetic waves to the ground, wherein the grounding connection connects the electric conductor of the electromagnetic-wave shielding blanket to the electric conductor of the electric heating mattress.

    • A thermo-sensitive heater and heater driving circuit are disclosed. The thermo-sensitive heater comprises a cord-shaped nylon thermistor that surrounds a heating element, such that the thermistor detects the temperature of the heating element and controls the driving current for a heating coil. Also, the present invention includes electromagnetic shielding material, which is formed by winding an electric conductor around the outer surface of the nylon thermistor, or formed as a wire mesh. This shielding material is advantageous for discharging the electric field radiated from inside of the heater to an external electric field, thus safely eliminating harmful electric fields. Also, the present invention further provides a driving circuit for safely driving the heater, which includes a temperature controller or an overheating prevention circuit.

The magnetic field-blocking panel heater includes a panel heating element comprising a heat generating electrical conductor enclosed in an electrical insulator and first electrodes for transferring current to the electrical conductor. A magnetic field-blocking material surrounds the panel heating element. Second electrodes are respectively connected to the first electrodes of the panel heating element and extended outside of the magnetic field-blocking material for transferring current to the first electrodes, wherein the magnetic field-blocking material absorbs a magnetic field generated by the panel heating element when current is applied to the electrical conductor via the first and second electrodes.
