摘要： A code reader for color images, which can simultaneously accept a one-dimensional code or a two-dimensional code and data of a color image of a subject for management and which can record both the data in mapping with each other, is provided. The code reader comprises color image pickup means for picking up a code and also a color image of a subject for management as is specified by identification information contained in the code; code-recognizing-data extraction means for extracting luminance data from the color image data picked up by the color image pickup means, and for writing gray scale data into a first frame memory as data for recognizing the code; and recorded-image extraction means for extracting color data from the color image data picked up by the color image pickup means, and for writing the color data into a second frame memory as data for the original image of the subject for management.

摘要： A color recognition apparatus according to the present invention is arranged so that assigned color differences and brightness signals are separated from a video signal, and these separated signals are determined according to the upper and lower limit values present in a decision circuit so as to output a binary signal, and signals of brightness, chroma and hue are separated from the video signal, and these separated signals are determined according to the limit values so that the hue is automatically determined to confirm it by the screen of a monitor, thereby eliminating individual differences and errors in recognition due to eyesight and being capable of recognizing the hue under a uniform condition and further determining the area of the object to be inspected.

摘要： In a bar-code reader of the present invention, data of a bar-code can be inputted easily into a personal computer without any limits on the area in which it can be used. The bar-code reader includes the functions of a PC card. A reading section for reading the data of the bar-code is formed on one corner portion of a body of the bar-code reader. Ten keys for inputting an instructions, such as for registering, deleting, or displaying of the data of the bar-code, or for guidance, are formed on an upper surface of the body of the bar-code reader. A displaying section formed of a liquid crystal for displaying predetermined information is also formed on the upper surface thereof. Furthermore, formed in a shorter side of the body are terminals for connecting the bar-code reader to the personal computer when the bar-code reader is inserted into a PC card slot formed in the personal computer.
