    • An operability in performing an image correction process on a picked-up image of an object shot at approximately the same shooting angle is improved and a process time is shortened. A CPU in a cellular phone extracts the contour of the object from one of a plurality of picked-up images sequentially picked up in a sequential image pickup mode, and calculates correction data to be used in image correction based on the extracted contour. Thereafter, the CPU performs an image correction process on the plurality of picked-up images picked up sequentially to correct the distortion of the image of the object included in each picked-up image, using the calculated correction data.

    • An image processing apparatus is provided which includes a group automatically-registering unit or a group setting unit, and a grouping unit. At the time of taking photographs, the group automatically-registering unit groups images automatically, and then registers the stored address and group identifying information thereof in the group information list. At the time of taking photographs or reproducing images, the group setting unit groups images and/or images with the corresponding input data with aid of a user operation, and then registers the stored address and the size of images constituting the group or data, and the group identifying information thereon in a group information list. The grouping unit performs group-movement (insertion or deletion), change in reproducing order, transmission of recorded data, image print, display and the like in a group unit at the time of reproducing images.

    • A digital camera comprises a pick-up image data memory for storing pick-up image data by a couple charged device (CCD), a title message table for storing a plurality of title message data to be superimposed over the pick-up image data and a plate table for storing a plurality of plate image data to be overwritten the title message data and a central processing unit (CPU). The CPU overwrites the title message data stored in the title message table on the plate image data stored in the plate table and superimposed the title message data with the plate image data over the pick-up image data stored in the pick-up data memory. Further, the CPU stored the superimposed pick-up image data in the pick-up image memory so that the superimposed image data can be reproduced following the original pick-up image data.
