    • A reference posture and a reference position of the imaginary sphere and an arbitrary position are set. The relationship between three-dimensional coordinates and two-dimensional coordinates is derived by using a photographing means. Positions of marks given to the imaginary sphere formed at the coordinates in the three-dimensional space are converted into positions on a two-dimensional image. An operation of displacing a posture of the imaginary sphere relative to the reference posture and the reference position is performed in such a way that the coordinate values of the two-dimensional imaginary marks and the coordinate values of the marks present on the two-dimensional images of the sphere are coincident with each other. The rotational and flight characteristics of the sphere are computed, according to the three-dimensional posture and position at one time and the three-dimensional posture and position thereof at another time.

    • The invention judges whether or not the relation between an illumination at a desired position and a target illumination satisfies a predetermined condition, and causes the illumination at the desired position to approach the target illumination by letting a plurality of lighting devices successively perform a procedure of increasing/decreasing their respective light intensities based on a result of the judgment. The illumination at the desired position is caused to approach the target illumination by randomly varying the light intensities of the lighting devices, making comparison between the illumination at the desired position and the target illumination, and narrowing the width of variation based on a result of the comparison. When the electric power consumption has increased, the light intensities are returned to the previous values. Furthermore, there is provided a control terminal device for control that can be used for other control amounts.

    • The present invention is a lighting control system including at least one local device and a plurality of lighting devices. The communication transmission medium between the local device and the lighting devices is provided with directional characteristics, and the lighting devices are selected and designated, as needed, using ID information. A designated lighting device is lighted up and performs light intensity setting. A judgment is carried out as to whether or not the relation between an illumination at a desired position and a target illumination satisfies a predetermined condition, and causes the illumination at the desired position to approach the target illumination by letting the plurality of lighting devices successively perform a procedure of increasing/decreasing their respective light intensities based on a result of the judgment. With such a lighting control system, it is possible to let a part of the whole lighting devices, for example, the necessary lighting devices perform control, in particular, in an environment in which numerous lighting devices are installed, thereby making it possible to shorten the control time and reducing a waste of illumination.
