摘要： A magnetic recording method using a magnetic head to record information in an information recording medium and read the information recorded on the information recording medium is such that the temperature of a portion of the information recording medium on or from which information is recorded or read is changed in order to record or read information. A disk device having the ability to record and read information comprises a magnetic head for recording information by applying a given magnetic field to an information recording medium and reading the information from the information recording medium; and a temperature changing mechanism for changing the temperature of a portion of the information recording medium on or from which information is recorded or read. The magnetic head is moved to the portion of the medium in which a temperature change is produced by the temperature changing mechanism, whereby information is recorded or read.

摘要： A human body detection device detects whether a human body is present within a predetermined distance from an apparatus equipped with the human body detection device. The device includes a sensor, a threshold processing unit, and a sensor control unit. The sensor is configured to sense infrared to sequentially output a plurality of detection values. The threshold processing unit is configured to perform averaging and weighted averaging on the detection values to obtain a weighted average value of the detection values, and set a threshold based on the weighted average value of the detection values. The sensor control unit is configured to determine that the human body is present within the predetermined distance from the apparatus when a detection value output from the sensor exceeds the set threshold.

The connector storage portion, the wireless connection port, and the wired connection port are concentrated in one location.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device, a conveyance unit, a correction unit, and an attitude controller. The image forming device forms an image on a printing medium. The conveyance unit is disposed opposing the image forming device to convey the printing medium. The correction unit corrects an attitude of a leading edge of the printing medium sent out from the conveyance unit. The attitude controller controls correction of the attitude of the leading edge of the punting medium performed by the correction unit. The attitude controller determines whether or not the correction of the attitude of the leading edge of the printing medium is to be performed, and causes the correction unit to perform the correction when the attitude controller determines that the correction is to be performed.
