    • A connecting structure for interengaging metallic shielding members is provided, which includes: a contacting elongation (2) at a leading edge of a cylindrical male metallic shielding member (1); a mating contacting elongation (4) at a leading edge of a cylindrical female metallic shielding member (3) which is brought into contact with the male member contacting elongation at the leading edge of the cylindrical male metallic shielding member; and a pair of engaging hook pieces (5) formed to extend circumferentially on the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members to engage with the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member, wherein the pair of engaging hook pieces are formed at both sides of a slit (6) provided between the adjacent contacting elongations. The contacting elongation of either of the metallic shielding members is urged toward and into tighter contact with the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member by a pressing spring portion (23) provided on a housing (17′) of a connector (19).

    • A connecting structure of a metallic shielding member is provided with each of contacting elongations in the leading edge direction of male or female metallic shielding member in which a pair of engaging hook pieces to engage with the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members are formed at the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member. The pair of engaging hook pieces are formed at both sides of the slit provided between the adjacent contacting elongations. The other connecting structure of a metallic shielding member in which each of the contacting elongations of both metallic shielding members equipped with male and female connectors is brought into contact with each other, a pressing spring is provided for energizing the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members toward the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member at least in the connector housing on one side. Furthermore, there are provided a contacting projection for both contacting elongations and an enlarged diameter portion for the contacting projection.

    • A connector for an electric vehicle in which a bus bar connecting portion of a terminal is secured and connected, in parallel, to a plate-like bus bar arranged in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. In the connector, a connector housing has a terminal accommodating chamber in the form of a substantially cylindrical space, and a rotation-preventing face is provided on the inner wall of the terminal accommodating chamber to radially and inwardly protrude from the inner wall. A body portion of the terminal is formed into a rod to be fitted into the terminal accommodating chamber. The bus bar connecting portion in the form of a plate, with a width equal to an outer diameter of the body portion, is extended from the rear end of the body portion. Two slants are formed on the body portion by partially removing the body portion along two planes intersecting perpendicularly to each other. The slants selectively abut against the rotation-preventing face when the terminal is inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber.

    • To ensure insulation without increasing an insulating distance nor involving a molding process as well as to achieve the downsizing and easy production of an insulating structure, an insulating structure is provided for a shielded connector characterized in that a terminal is pressured onto conductors of an insulated core wire, so that the terminal is inserted within a terminal accommodating chamber; and that a shielding braid covering the insulated core wire is connected to a metallic shell inserted within and covering the terminal accommodating chamber. An annular insulator is fitted over the outer circumference of the insulated core wire between the terminal and the shielding braid. It is preferred that the insulator be made of an elastic material, and not only have the inner circumference thereof brought into intimate contact with the outer circumference of the insulated core wire, but also have the outer circumference thereof brought into intimate contact with the inner circumference of the terminal accommodating chamber.
