    • Disclosed are a liquid crystal panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The liquid crystal panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate has a first display area and a first surrounding area. The second substrate has a second display area and a second surrounding area. A first and second electrode layers are respectively formed in the first and second surrounding areas. At least one coating layer is formed in at least one of the first surrounding area and the second surrounding area. The at least one of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer is protruded a contact distance of the coating layer, so that the first electrode layer contacts the second electrode after the first substrate is assembled to the second substrate. The present invention decreases the cost and improves the display quality of the liquid crystal panel.

    • The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display device having a plurality of pixel areas defined by gate lines and data lines, and having a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit has a transistor, a pixel electrode, a common electrode and at least one connecting portion. The pixel electrode is connected to a drain of the transistor. The common electrode is connected to a corresponding common line and overlapped with the pixel electrode. The connecting portion is coplanar with the common electrode and connected to the common electrode, and insulatedly passes the gate line to connect with the common electrode of the pixel unit in an adjacent one of the pixel areas. With the above structure, the liquid crystal display device can provide better aperture ratio and transmittance.

    • The present invention provides a display panel and a wiring structure thereof. The wiring structure comprises a plurality of metal wires extending across a first wiring region, a second wiring region, and a third wiring region. The first wiring region adjoins the second wiring region. The second wiring region adjoins the third wiring region. A line width of an nth metal wire in the second wiring region is a, and a distance between the nth metal wire and an n+1th metal wire is b, where n≧1. When n is taken as different values, a/(a+b) is a constant value. According to the above method, the coverage ratio in the seal coating region by the metal wires is not changed to avoid the problem of uneven curing of the sealant. The performance stability of the display panel is thus not impacted.
