The inductor includes a bobbin having at least one round of wire wound thereon to serve as a coil of the inductor, a first magnetic member coupled with the bobbin, and a second magnetic member having a first end and a second end, wherein the second magnetic member is inserted into the bobbin from the second end thereof and the first end has a protrusion for allowing the second magnetic member to be partially inserted into the bobbin, thereby forming a gap between these two magnetic members.

    • Disclosed is a method for adjusting the inductance of an inductor at least including a bobbin, a first magnetic member having a concavity on a side wall thereof, and a second magnetic member having a protrusion at a first end thereof for preventing the second magnetic member from being completely inserted into the bobbin so as to form a gap between the first and second magnetic members. The method includes the steps of selecting a reference piece with a suitable thickness to be disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and closely attached to both of them t as said second magnetic member is inserted into said bobbin, and partially removing the second magnetic member from a second end thereof according to the thickness of the reference piece so as to obtain a predetermined inductance value. This method further includes a step of determining whether the inductance of the inductor is identical to the predetermined inductance value after the reference piece is disposed between the protrusion of the second magnetic member and the side wall of the first magnetic member with the concavity and the second magnetic member is partially inserted into the bobbin. If the inductance of the inductor is not identical to the predetermined inductance value the thickness of the reference piece can be changed to repeat the above-described steps until the predetermined inductance value is obtained.

    • A three-dimensional capacitor structure has a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer disposed above the first conductive layer, and a plug layer disposed between the conductive layers. The first conductive layer includes first conductive closed-end frames, and first conductive islands disposed inside the first conductive closed-end frames. The second conductive layer includes second conductive closed-end frames, and second conductive islands disposed inside the second conductive closed-end frames. The second conductive closed-end frames line up with the first conductive islands, and the second conductive islands line up with the first conductive closed-end frames. The plug layer has plugs disposed in between each first conductive island and each second conductive closed-end frame, and in between each first conductive closed-end frame and each second conductive island.

    • A three-dimensional capacitor structure has a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer disposed above the first conductive layer, and a plug layer disposed therebetween. The first conductive layer includes a plurality of grid units arranged in a matrix, where in odd rows of the matrix, a first conductive grid is located in each odd column, and a first circular hole is located in each even column. Additionally, a first conductive island is located within each first circular hole. The pattern of the second conductive grids, the second circular holes, and the second conductive island of the second conductive layer is mismatched with that of the first conductive layer.
