    • A displaying method of an on screen display (OSD) system is provided. The method is used in a computer system which includes a host and a display device. The display device has a screen, a display micro-processor and a storage unit. An original OSD parameter is stored in the storage unit. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, an OSD compiler is provided in a host for being displayed on the screen. Next, after a user adjusts the display characteristics of the OSD, the OSD compiler generates a modified OSD parameter. Then, the modified OSD parameter is inputted to the display micro-processor. Next, the modified OSD parameter is stored to the storage unit by the display micro-processor. Lastly, when the screen re-displays the OSD, the OSD is displayed on the screen according to the modified OSD parameter.

    • Methods and systems for signal display are provided. Resolution data of signals received by an electronic display device is sent to a computer and determined if it is stored in a first table, recording resolution data and corresponding display data, in the computer. If so, the corresponding display data is sent to the electronic display device for signal display. If not, the resolution data is determined if it is recorded in a second table, established outside the computer and recording the resolution data and corresponding display data. If so, the corresponding display data is sent to the electronic display device and recorded to the first table in the computer.

    • A signal detection method is provided. The signal detection method for an electronic device having a plurality of terminals to receive signals from a plurality of sources corresponding to the terminals, includes the following steps: providing a sequence index for each terminal; providing a plurality of weighting numbers for the electronic device; comparing the sequence indexes of the terminals to determine a terminal detection sequence when the electronic device is turned on or the signal source changes; detecting the terminals according to the detection sequence; adding one of the weighting number to the sequence index of the terminal with signal traffic. The detection sequence begins at the terminal with a largest sequence index and ends at the terminal with a smallest sequence index.

    • A signal detection method is provided.
