A transport service between points in a network often traverses multiple technologies involving numerous containments and adaptations. In contrast, the provided alarm correlation technique presents a highly structured and comprehensive visual presentation depicting the network event affecting the transport service in terms of the supporting elements affected by the network event. The provided visual presentation enables a viewer to visually correlate the network event affecting the transport service with the transport service affected by the network event directly.
