    • A lockable plug connector includes a prong strip housing which contains prong contacts and onto which a multichambered bush housing with bush contacts, connected to electric lines, can be plugged and locked by a snap connection, so that the prong contacts are put into electrical contact with the bush contacts. For the sake of attaining a very compact structure, a cover cap is thrust onto the plug contact side of the bush housing, and with this cap a secondary securing of the bush contacts is achieved. An annular wall of the prong strip housing fits over the cover cap completely and terminates at an end surface in an encompassing recess of the bush housing. For sealing purposes, a sealing plate can be disposed inside the bush housing, a sealing ring can be disposed between the prong strip housing and the bush housing, and a sealing ring encompassing the outer wall of the prong strip housing can be provided.

    • An electrical plug-type connector has primary securing means formed by an interlock mechanism comprising a primary catch edge and a stationary contact wall of the housing that interact with the first catch tongue of the contact element. The opposite, second contact chamber wall is provided on a slide member that is movable at least transversely relative to the plug-in direction, but preferably also obliquely relative thereto and has a segmented catch edge having paths for the second catch tongue to pass therealong. By moving the slide, a primary and secondary secured interlock position of both catch tongues occur as a result of engagement behind the respective catch edges. This movement will also cause a forward feed of the contact element not correctly plugged in and primarily latched.

    • An electrical plug connector includes a housing being formed of insulating material and having at least one contact chamber. A contact element is to be inserted in the at least one contact chamber in a given plugging direction. A locking device for the contact element is movable transversely to the given plugging direction, is formed of insulating material and is constructed as a slide. The locking device is transversely moveable between an initial detent position permitting the contact element to be inserted into the at least one contact chamber, and a final detent position locking the contact element. The housing and the locking device are formed from a thermoplastic synthetic having the same or different properties and are produced by multicomponent injection molding with the housing being injection molded directly on the slide.
