    • Methods and systems are disclosed for installing a software program in a computing device. The computing device has stored therein, a first operating system that supports an execution of the software program. In an embodiment, the method includes determining a differential software component between a second software component and a first software component. The second software component includes the first operating system and the software program and the first software component includes the first operating system. The method further includes generating a differential image corresponding to the differential software component. Subsequently, the method follows with storing the differential image and a version of a second operating system onto a bootable computer readable medium. The version of the second operating system is supportive of an extraction of the differential image onto the computing device. The method further includes accessing the bootable computer readable medium from the computing device. In a successive progression, the differential image is installed in the computing device based at least in part on the accessing without performing one or more verifications related to the first operating system prior to the installation, wherein the differential image corresponds to the software program.

    • A fiber distribution terminal system includes a below ground vault, and a terminal enclosure within the vault. The system also includes a lift system in the vault, the lift system including a screw drive and a track system. Rotation of the screw drive lifts the terminal enclosure from a below ground to a lifted position, and the track system guides the terminal enclosure as the enclosure is lifted. The system also includes a tool such as a cordless drill to drive the screw drive. The screw drive can include a ball screw and a ball nut. The system can include a bracket to couple the terminal enclosure to the screw drive and the track system. The track system can include two sets of tracks, a first set of tracks that is fixed in the vault, and a second set of tracks that is coupled to the first set of tracks.

    • The reagent, pharmaceutical formulation, kit, and methods of the invention provides a new approach for treating hypoxia-related pathological conditions, such as Alzheimer's Disease, and those involving excessive angiogenesis, especially those non-cancer pathological conditions. The invention provides the use of Na+/K+-ATPase inhibitors, such as cardiac glycosides (e.g. ouabain and proscillaridin, etc.), either alone or in combination with other standard therapeutic agents for treating such conditions. The invention also relates to the use of cardiac glycoside inhibitors/antagonists as reagents, pharmaceutical formulations, or in kits and methods for treating conditions arising from excessive amount of cardiac glycosides, including all symptoms of digitalis poisoning, depression, hypertension, etc. The pharmaceutical formulation of the invention may be delivered to a patient either systemically or locally, or both. The pharmaceutical formulations of the invention may be delivered either in one dose, or continuously over a sustained period of time using, for example, sustained drug delivery devices.
