    • A controlling device may cause a scan performing unit to perform either a first type of scan or a second type of scan. In the first type of scan, a document may be moved with respect to optical elements while the optical elements are not moved, and in a second type of scan, the optical elements are moved with respect to the document while the document is not moved. The controlling device may judge that a first type of analysis is to be performed on scan data in a case where one type of scan is performed, and judge that the first type of analysis is not to be performed in a case where the other type of scan is performed. The controlling device may determine an output resolution by utilizing a result of the first type of analysis, and create a file including image data indicating the output resolution.

The instructions cause the image processing device to determine a first reference value by using the plurality of the edge pixels. The instructions cause the image processing device to generate correspondence data by using the first reference value. The instructions cause the image processing device to convert, using the correspondence data, a plurality of original pixel values of the plurality of pixels into respective converted pixel values.

    • In an image processing device, the control device identifies a background color of the image. The control device classifies each of the pixels into either one of a background color pixel group or a non-background color pixel group. The control device determines whether a partial region of the image having the non-background pixel is a chromatic color region or an achromatic color region, without using pixel values corresponding to pixels classified into the background color pixel group. The control device determines that the image is chromatic color image when it is determined that the partial region is the chromatic color region. The control device determines that the image is achromatic color image when it is determined that the partial region is the achromatic color region.

    • There is provided an output device including an inputting unit, an extracting unit, a calculating unit, an adjusting unit and an outputting unit. The inputting unit is configured to input an image file representing a motion image. The extracting unit is configured to extract, from the image file, a first frame image and at least one neighboring frame image that is chronologically continuous with the first frame image. The calculating unit is configured to calculate a total adjustment parameter for adjusting the first frame image based on the first frame image and the at least one neighboring frame image. The adjusting unit is configured to adjust the first frame image using the total adjustment parameter to generate a first adjusted output image. The outputting unit is configured to output the first adjusted output image.
