摘要： One embodiment provides for a liquids/solids reaction vessel configured to contain a mixture of at least one liquid and at least one solid. The vessel includes a closed perimeter wall defined by an effective height, and a bottom connected to the closed perimeter wall to thereby define a vessel volume configured to contain the mixture. The reaction vessel further includes a solids extraction system located in at least one of the bottom or in the perimeter wall proximate the bottom. The effective height is selected to produce a pressure proximate the bottom of the reaction vessel selected to eject the at least one solid through the solids extraction system under the influence of gravity alone. The effective height can be further selected to cause an increase in a reaction rate between the at least one liquid and the at least one solid.

摘要： A plastic contoured seat back includes an inner and an outer shell affixed together. The inner shell includes a three dimensionally curved front surface and a two dimensionally curved back surface. The inner shell may include an internal rib adjacent the top of the shell that is shaped differently from the top edge of the inner shell. The internal rib is adapted to allow the inner shell to be cut adjacent the internal rib so that the inner shell can be varied in shape. The shell may also include indentations on the back side of the shell adjacent the corners of the inner shell. The indentations are dimensioned to receive overlapping fabric that is pulled around the corners such that the fabric on the back of the shell adjacent the corners does not project outwardly more than the fabric elsewhere, despite the over lapping of the fabric at the corners. The inner shell may also include a plurality of uniquely identified holes adapted to allow a variety of different ornamentation to be attached to the inner shell.

摘要： A skeletal framework is provided for supporting furniture, shelf, wall and other types of structural panels. The framework comprises a plurality of elongate frame members, each having a generally rectangular cross section. At least one side of each of the frame members is provided with an axially extending slot. Each of the axially extending slots is provided with a generally dovetail-shaped cross section. A plurality of corner connectors are provided for interconnecting first, second and third frame members which usually extend in mutually orthogonal directions. The corner connectors are each provided with first, second and third extensions for extending into and engaging the axially extending slots disposed on the first, second and third frame members, respectively. A plurality of corner locks are provided, one corner lock being received in each corner member. Each of the corner locks comprise a stake, which extends through the corner members and engages the first and second frame members, and a fastener, which extends through the stake and the corner members, the fastener engaging the third frame member for drawing the stake, the corner connector and the first, second and third frame members theretogether. Various types of paneling may be mounted in the skeletal framework so assembled. Additional elements are provided for mounting door panels and shelf panels. Other elements are provided for interconnecting modules formed from the structural system of the present invention and wall mounting one or more of the modules.

摘要： A mail or storage box for suspension between spaced-apart parallel vertical members and secured thereto in cover contact with a horizontal plane surface. The box is suspended by means of a compound pivoting arm arrangement to close against the cover surface and to be capable of opening from the front or rear in such a manner that upon opening the edge of the box falls away from the cover while progressively tilting as the opening proceeds toward a stop position where the contents are revealed and presented to the person opening the box. On closing a reverse progression occurs. Compound pivoting is achieved using a pair of pivot arms at both ends of the box and arm both pivotally secured to the end closure of the box at the top and at the bottom to an attachment plate. The attachment plate is the means for suspending the box in the space between the vertical supports and against the upper closure. The box may be used in spaced vertical sequence so that plural of the boxes are mounted between the same vertical supports. Front and rear locks are provided and users of the box in rural delivery situations need not get into the street to empty the contents of the box. Weather seals are provided between cover and box at front and back. The boxes are drained and signals are selectively attached thereto.
