摘要： An airbag apparatus includes an airbag having an interior divided into a plurality of chambers, and a gas generator for inflating the airbag so that gas is guided directly to each chamber from the gas generator. Further, a gas distributor having a plurality of gas outlets is attached to a gas outlet of the gas generator. The gas is supplied to the respective chambers through the gas outlets of the gas distributor.

摘要： An airbag system includes an airbag having an occupant side surface facing an occupant and an opposite side surface facing a vehicle body in an inflated state, and having an interior partitioned into a plurality of chambers including at least an upper chamber and a lower chamber; a gas generator disposed in the airbag; and a gas distributor having a discharge port for discharging gas from the gas generator into at least the upper chamber and the lower chamber. The gas distributor has a gas-distributing connecting line extending substantially linearly for connecting the occupant side surface and the opposite side surface of the airbag.

摘要： An airbag apparatus includes an airbag to be deployed and inflated in a passenger protection area between a vehicle passenger and a vehicle side wall portion in case of vehicle accident. The airbag has a head chamber for protecting a head of a vehicle passenger and a chest chamber for protecting a chest portion of the passenger. A gas supply device is provided for simultaneously supplying gas to the head chamber and the chest chamber. A pressure adjusting device adjusts an internal pressure of the head chamber to a level higher than an internal pressure of the chest chamber at the time of deployment and inflation of the airbag.
