摘要： A workpiece chucking device is strengthened in its workpiece chucking force. The workpiece chucking device comprises a diaphragm 14 having chucking claws 35 in the front of a base 12 which will rotate along with a spindle 11 of a machine tool, a piston which will be moved back and forth by switching fluid fed into a hollow chamber 15 of the base, a cylindrical member 21 inserted in a center of the piston and held to the base, first balls 24 fitted into even-numbered ones of a plurality of transmitting holes formed in the cylindrical member, as well as second balls fitted into odd-numbered ones of the transmitting holes, and a recessed fitting portion 29 provided in an outer circumferential surface of a slider 26 which is inserted into the cylindrical member and connected to the diaphragm so that parts of circumferential surfaces of the first and second balls will be fitted into the recessed fitting portion 29. The slider will retreat only when the first balls are pushed into the recessed fitting portion by a first tapered portion of the piston, while the slider will be advanced when only the second balls are pushed into the recessed fitting portion by a second tapered portion of the piston.

摘要： A device for clamping a workpiece has a base body rotatable together with a spindle of a machine tool. The base body has a hollow portion defining a space. A piston is mounted in the space so as to be movable back and forth by fluid supplied through passages communicating with chambers defined on both sides of the piston, respectively. A diaphragm is provided over a front portion of the base body with a predetermined gap left therebetween. A peripheral portion of the diaphragm is secured to the base body, while a central portion of the diaphragm engages the piston. A plurality of clamping jaws are provided on the front surface of the diaphragm.

摘要： On a liquid crystal panel, plural areas whose number is larger than that of temperature sensors are defined. In a memory, temperature relation information representing a relation between an output value of a temperature sensor and a temperature of each of the plural areas is stored. A controller acquires the output value of the temperature sensor and estimates, based on the temperature relation information and the acquired output value, the temperature of each of the plural areas. According to this configuration, the temperature of each of the plural areas defined on the liquid crystal panel can be obtained with a small number of temperature sensors.

The semiconductor device includes a signal processing circuit, a first antenna circuit and a second antenna circuit operationally connected to the signal processing circuit, and a battery operationally connected to the signal processing circuit, in which the first antenna circuit transmits/receives a signal for transmitting data stored in the signal processing circuit; the second antenna circuit receives a signal for charging the battery; and a signal received by the first antenna circuit and a signal received by the second antenna circuit have different wavelengths.

摘要： The voltage-current property of the specific pixel is measured to store the data on a single line in a line memory. The property data of adjacent pixels are compared. A failure determination unit detects whether or not the pixel to be compared is faulty. If it is determined as being faulty, the faulty pixel is removed from the pixel group to be compared. The burn-in determination unit performs the comparison using normal pixels only to provide the correct burn-in data. The calculation unit reflects the burn-in data in the image data from the host.

摘要： To provide a semiconductor device including an RFID which can transmit and receive individual information without checking of the remaining charge of a battery or a replacing operation of the battery in accordance with deterioration over time of the battery for driving, and can maintain an excellent state for transmission and reception of individual information even when power of a radio wave or an electromagnetic wave from outside is insufficient. A battery (also described as a secondary battery) is provided as a power supply for supplying power to the RFID. Then, when power which is obtained from a signal received from outside is larger than predetermined power, its surplus power is stored in the battery; and when the power which is obtained from the signal received from outside is smaller than the predetermined power, power which is obtained from the battery is used for the power for driving.
