    • A game of skill has a housing with a hollow drum mounted inside the housing. A transparent indicia strip is mounted on the drum. A spring is positioned in front of the drum, and a light is located within the interior of the drum such that the light illuminates the indicia strip to cast an image of the strip on the screen. The light is connected to a handle which is controlled by the operator, whereby the image of the indicia is moved across the screen depending upon the operator movement of the handle. The handle further includes a fire button connected to a control mechanism which senses the concurrent depression of the fire button and the location of an image of the indicia on the screen in a target area outlined on the screen.

    • A track apparatus for a toy racing car includes a car-entry track portion, a car-exit track portion, and a pivotal arm pivotally mounted between the two track portions to carry a car from one portion to the other. The pivotal arm has a stand connected to a distal end thereof which has a retractable stop. When a car travelling with sufficient momentum hits the stop, the pivotal arm is caused to pivot from one position to another, whereby the car is delivered from the car-entry track portion to the car-exit track portion. Upon reaching the second position, the stop is automatically retracted to release the car.

    • A voice actuated toy robot receives commands via a radio transmitter and receiver, and in response to receipt of these commands propogates a signal through a CPU. Initially the toy is programmed by storing records of commands in a memory which is associated with the CPU. Upon further receipt of identical commands, the CPU scans the memory and upon finding a match between a record in the memory and a new command, the CPU activates a switch associated with the record in the memory so as to set the switch. A mechanical interogator is capable of cycicly interogating a plurality of switches each of which corresponds to one of the records in the memory. Upon interogation of the switches, if it is determined a signal is present at one of the switches, the interogator ceases interogation and a mechanism is set so as to propogate motion from a motor to an appendage driving wheel or the like of the robot to produce an output in response to the audio command which was received.

The concealed transmission member is rotatably mounted within the hollow cube so as to permit successive block units to be connected, and top permit a drive force inputted to one end of a succession of block units, from a power unit and through a power transmission, to be output at another end of the succession of block units. The succession of blocks can be configured in any desired shape, such as a crane.

    • A series of toys having unique motions are activated by a fluid propelled propulsion device. The propulsion device includes a housing with a cylinder located thereon. A pressurized fluid reservoir connects to the cylinder via a valve. The valve has provisions for introducing pressurized fluid into the cylinder and exhausting pressurized fluid out of the cylinder. A piston is located in the cylinder and in response to introduction of pressurized fluid into the cylinder, moves in a power stroke. This is followed by an exhaust stroke wherein the piston moves in the opposite direction. A piston output member is associated with the piston and extends out of the cylinder. The piston output member moves linearly in response to movement of the piston in its power and exhaust strokes. A connecting mechanism connects the piston output member and the valve. The connecting mechanism includes a first movable member and a second movable member and a biasing member. The first movable member is operatively associated with the valve and controls the position of the valve for charging and exhausting the cylinder. The biasing member interacts with the first member for controlling the valve. The second movable member moves the first movable member to initiate at least one of the charging or exhaust operations of the valve in response to movement of the piston. The second movable member can move the first movable member to initiate the other of the charging or exhaust functions of the valve in response to movement of the piston in the opposite direction, or an independent movement can be utilized to initiate this operation.
